It was all set up by Adam- he put the body in the basement, and then lured Nick down there hoping he would either succumb to the fumes or go up in flames with the explosion. Meanwhile, Adam escapes and he has set it up so they will assume the body is him.

The body is nobody of consequence....

victor and michael are with the da when he gets a phone call that there is a body in the basement.

michael is in a panic because he can't find lauren when the da tells them it's a male.

and he turns to go to the basement when victor says i'm coming with you.

da says no you're not coming to see the body and victor say's "adam may have killed someone i'm coming down" and they da says' ok

REALLY???? - is there no authority in that town? does victor really have all these people in the palm of his hands????

so I'm watching today's episode and I get to thinking ... these writers certainly have put poor little Faith through a lot in her first 6 months ...

1. she's taken away from Sharon
2. bonds with Ashley
3, then is taken abruptly away from Ashley - the only mother she's known
4. then is given to Sharon - a mother she doesn't know
5. then gets caught in the middle of a gas leak explosion!

boy oh boy, this poor little girl needs a break! ... I think she deserves a WDW vacation, pronto ...

•Michael lashes out at Chance and the cops for focusing more on Adam than Lauren and Jana
•Jana tells Lauren she was forced to lie to Kevin and the truth is worse than Lauren thinks
•Mac goes to JT after learning about Lily and Cane, she now worries about her twins
•Nina rudely lets herself in Chloe's room and catches Chloe and Chance coming out of the shower
•Victoria tells Billy they can't be together fearing she'll lose her son, they end up kissing
•Nina learns Chance proposed to Chloe, she turned him down. Nina wants to know what Chloe is upto
