Signy Coleman (Hope) Returns August 13 and 16th

In the new TV Guide Coleman says Hope will be in flashbacks that will explain how Adam grew up to be a conniving psychopath. She says we will have a much better understanding of him.

•After talking to Billy, Lauren decides that it may not be so bad to meet Jill halfway
•Chloe has a Cinderella dream, Chance, Billy, Cane are in it, so is a mystery man we don't see his face
•Chance is w/ Heather, Billy w/ Victoria, Cane w/ Lily. Chloe awakens, says screw the prince, she wants payback!
•Lauren tries to make peace w/ Jill who thinks its an act b/c Lauren's afraid of losing in court. Lauren gets so pissed!

•Nick hasn't heard from Sharon and Faith and gets worried, he asks Jack then realizes Sharon must be at the cabin since Jack knows where she is. Adam overhears•Victor offers a settlement to Phyllis hoping she and Nick agree to it, Phyllis says no, she's the injured party here. Phyllis says she'll deal with things her own way•Ashley and Tucker attempt to get information out of Billy and even offer him a job, he refuses to do something to hurt Victoria and says to keep him out of this•Victor enlists Victoria's help in dealing with Abby but they get nowhere. Victor realizes Abby is getting help from someone and thinks he knows who it is•Adam tells Phyllis that Nick went to see Sharon, Phyllis realizes Adam wants her to get Nick so Adam can get Sharon. Phyllis says Sharon will never take Adam back•Sharon is shown talking to Noah, she assures her son that Adam cannot harm her and that she and Faith are safe. Nick comes to see Sharon and Faith•Jack has all of Abby's bank statements and shows her how much she's worth, she starts thinking her father may be right. Jack manipulates her, Victor confronts him•Billy tells Victoria what he knows happened in Tokyo, Victoria admits to Billy that she did make a bribe! Billy promises not to tell a soul what he knows•Phyllis is shown going to the cabin but along with the way she gets a flat tire, there's a storm and someone offers to help Phyllis. She doesn't recognize that its Deacon•Nick is shown leaving in the storm, Sharon is packing up, there's a knock on the door seconds later so Sharon assumes Nick returned but is shocked to see Adam

Next - Ashley walks in on Victor and Jack's confrontation, learns about Jack helping Abby; Chance the creep fights Ronan about poor Heather; Deacon and Phyllis finally recognize each other

A Nifty '50s Wedding for The Young and the Restless

The Young and the Restless will go 1950s retro for the September 8 wedding of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (recent Emmy winner Billy Miller). The star-crossed lovers, both of whom suffer from major daddy issues, ironically cemented their relationship last July while watching a Father Knows Best marathon on TV. To commemorate that, the soap has hired one of the stars from the beloved sitcom - Elinor Donahue, who played teenager Betty Anderson - to officiate the ceremony. Appropriately, Donahue will play a character named Judge Anderson.

"Relationship and romance is partly about trying to achieve a retro-fantasy of better, simpler times - bringing Elinor on amps up that homage to the perfect family," says Y&R co-head writer Scott Hamner. "We have great admiration for Elinor. She's an iconic part of our collective psyche and it seemed like we couldn't do it without her. We love her!" (Cool trivia: Hamner's dad, Earl Hamner Jr., created The Waltons, one of the greatest family series ever).

The nuptials were shot outdoors in a quaint, picket-fence neighborhood on the CBS Studio Center lot, once the home of such wholesome shows as My Three Sons and Leave It To Beaver. For another vintage touch, Victoria's dress is inspired by a gown worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1957 film Funny Face.

This isn't Donahue's first dip in the suds - she was memorably menacing as Nurse Honeycutt on Days of Our Lives - and nor is she the only baby-boomer fave coming to Genoa City. On September 1, Susan Olsen, best known as Cindy Brady on The Brady Bunch, will play the owner of a pre-school attended by Victoria and Billy's kids.

Sharon is showing Adam out when Nick arrives, he and Adam argue•Phyllis refuses Deacon's help, hurts herself, Deacon helps her but her spare is flat he leaves to get a new one while she stays in her car•Chloe asks Kevin if she can move back in with him after Chance cheated with Heather and her plan with Ronan backfired. Kevin agrees•Nick wants Sharon to come back to GC, she refuses. Sharon refuses to take Nick's gun but changes her mind after learning Patty escaped•Victor confronts Jack for using Abby the way he used Colleen, Ashley walks in and asks Jack to leave Abby alone. Jack promises but is lying•Chloe runs into Chance, he blames her for Heather but she says blame yourself, you're the cheater. Chance will only take half the blame•Nick sees Phyllis, learn she was going to the cabin. Phyllis tells Nick about Victor, talks about Nick cheating, how she changed for him•Victor and Ashley talk about Jack and Abby. They decide to give Abby some of her money, Abby refuses (she's listening to Jack!)•Chloe tells Kevin about what Chance did, she's hurting. Kevin cheers Chloe up w/ a lame rap and a cupcake for her birthday•Chance and Ronan get into a fight in the middle of the storm, Chris breaks it up. Chance leaves, Ronan tells Chris never to call Chance his brother!•Deacon returns, Phyllis knows Nick is about to return to help her and she tells Deacon to kiss her! Nick sees, after he leaves, Phyllis kicks Deacon out!•Sharon hears noise outside, someone is opening the door, she gets the gun threatens to shoot. The door opens, she shoots! Sharon runs to Adam's aid, yells for help, Adam has been shot in the arm!

Next - Skye confronts Sharon; Lauren and Jill fight at their father's grave; Malcolm and Sophia may have found a way to help Cane stay in the country

well wonder if Hope new about his troubles...I know she was blind but could see better than many people.....and if she did know why not tell Victor about him ...she was not one to keep secretes like that....

it will be interesting to see however....unless they make it just so stupid that we all yell at the writers again....

I wish that they did not have Phyllis go up to the cabin...but instead as she was leaving the coffee house got intercepted by Dillon....and he calmed her down showing why that would be the wrong thing to do....or the desperate thing to do....

Clearly Sharon wanted Nick to stay.....but didn't want to ask him. I'm starting to not like Nick at all.....and poor chloe, Chance is a creep and so is his mother for saying what she did to her....just nasty and she should now better after all she put up with with Jill.

Someone needs to slap Jill......and any idea where Patty has gone?????? I love how great the actress playing the 2 parts is.....they are truly like 2 completely different people but with the same face.....it's a shame she did not get an award for the parts she has been playing....she has been the most interesting out of everything.

And this stuff with the nude heiress....PALEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE someone needs to slap that little twit in the head and tell her to snap out of it. However I do love this actress in this part...she is a great Abby.....also loved her on GL.....was worried she would be to old for the part but she fit right into it.

But since you guys seem to agree that the Mac, JT and the Winters all need to leave, can we PLEASE add Nina to the list??? I didn't like her character much when she left the last time and I am REALLY not liking her now Poor Chloe.... (and I think Christine looks fab!!!)

My thought was do they not have AC in Wisconsin??? It is hot here too, but we surely aren't dripping inside. Gross. At first I thought it was the old power outage thing they pull out every so often so someone hooks up in an elevator or gets attacked in the dark. But the places all have light. Just no AC??

•Nick is back at the cabin, Sharon says she's unable to stop Adam's bleeding. Nick checks on Faith, she's still asleep. Nick calls Victor, tells him about the shooting•Jill consults her lawyer again while Lauren rants to Michael about Jill. Later, Lauren gets a call about Jill (she's on TV w/ a reporter, she's at Neil Fenmore's grave!)•Sophia tells Cane thanks to her job at Tucker's company, she found a way for Cane to stay in Genoa City with a work visa. Cane and Lily are grateful to Sophia•Phyllis comes to see Jack, tells him about Nick going to see Sharon and her kissing Deacon. Phyllis says she was living a fairy tale, decides to leave GC for a while•Adam's rushed to the hospital, Victor tries to calm Sharon down and tells her not to say anything to the press. Skye arrives w/ the press confronting Sharon!•Nick and Victor tell Skye off and chase away reporters. Skye says she has more right there than any of them since Adam was disowned. They learn Adam will be fine•Skye talks to an unconcious Adam about hopefully learning his lesson now that Sharon shot him, she wants Sharon to pay for what she did. Sharon and Skye face off•A ranger arrives with questions for Sharon, accuses her of trying to kill Adam. Michael meets w/ Sharon, things are not looking good for her, she had motive•Lauren confronts Jill while the reporter records everything, Lauren is fuming mad and tells Jill she won't get anything! Lauren pushes Jill into an open grave --- LMAO!•Adam awakens is asked about who shot him, says it was Sharon. Sharon is arrested, but Adam then admits he broke in and Nick is right, Sharon shot in self defense

Nick advises that Sharon return to Genoa City, but she wants to hold on to her solitude a little longer

Nick gives Sharon a gun for just in case

The storm outside makes Sharon edgy

Hearing a noise, Sharon cries out, “Who’s there?”

Suddenly, the door opens – panicked, Sharon fires the gun and hits Adam!

Stricken, Sharon comforts her troubled ex

As Adam begins to bleed out, she calls 911 for help

Nick returns to the cabin and stands by his ex

When the ranger asks what happened, Sharon admits she shot Adam

Skye becomes hysterical when she hears the news

Sharon tries to hold it together when Skye demands to know what she did to her husband!

The ranger arrives at the hospital and asks Sharon if she tried to kill Adam on purpose

Michael tells Sharon she could serve time for this

Nick and Victor comfort Sharon

Sharon is relieved when a doctor brings good news – Adam will be fine!

Sharon wonders if Adam will confirm that it was self defense, or if he’ll make an accusation

Sharon expects the worst

Adam wakes up and begins to ponder his options

Sharon tries to get Adam out of her life

Tucker reaches out to Cane with an offer to fix his immigration problem

He also reaches out to Jill with a little quid pro quo – if she can get Billy to cooperate, there’s something in it for her

Billy’s good intentions are betrayed

Billy and Victoria decide to stop hiding their relationship from the world

Michael cautions Lauren that her hostility to Jill might be counterproductive

Lauren decides to try again to reach her new sister

Meanwhile, Jill sets up a television interview at Neil Fenmore’s grave

Lauren tunes in to see Jill labeling her as unfair and unwelcoming

Losing her cool, Lauren heads for the cemetery

On camera, Lauren tells the world that Jill is greedy

Jill is outraged when Lauren promises to get a restraining order against her

She says she’s only trying to feel close to her new father

Lauren pushes Jill into a nearby grave and says, “Close enough?”

Michael is horrified by his wife’s cavalier behavior

He tells Lauren she has no chance of getting an order against Jill – but Jill can get one on her!

Lauren is shocked that Michael isn’t on her side

Kay tries to get Jill to calm down, reminding her that Lauren is her family now

Kevin realizes that without a miracle, he’s going to lose Crimson Lights

Vicotoria Rowell (Dru) and I got into a bickering match yesterday on Twitter. I got tired of all her crap and told her to lay off the bitterness. But I used more colorful words then that. She accused me of being on CBS's payroll. The woman clearly has alot of mental issues!
