While I hate the free license they have with random aging, I actually like the new character. Her wanting something shiny was funny.

I have mixed feelings about the nuAbby.

I think if she weren't the 'Abby' character, who should be a little girl and who was just aged to a teen and now looks in her twenties and is acting VERY different from her previous teen actress, I'd LOVE her. I actually LOVE her acting and personality and she reminds me of a female Billy BUT I can't get past the fact that we're suppose to believe she's Abby. I still can't accept her as Abby.

with Victor as her father i'm shocked she's the greedy little twirp they are making her.

no way someone like victor in real life would let her get away with all this crap and i'm surprised that they are making ashley this "walk all over me" business women.

though i shouldn't bee too surprised since they made her a doormat for victor for years.

but she of all people a few years back would never have let abby talk to her like that.

even my 4 year old knows better then to demand stuff from anyone unless she wants to be grounded.

Abby ... well I always like to wait judgment when a new actor/actress comes on, esp if they are replacing someone ... I just (so far) really do not like what Y&R as turned her into.

Chloe might HATE Heather but IRL, they are the bestest of friends (from AMC).

I think Y&R finally got a curling iron, Sharon, Phyllis, Nikki, Chloe and Heather have all used it THIS week.

You are so right! It didn't even occur to me until I read this - but before this my daughter and I would call each other back and forth with "he can see today" or oops can't see today!

The bartender told Victor that Adam was staring at Skye's picture-I would have trouble recognizing someone in a picture that small from across the bar, but blind Adam could see it?

I guess the writers expect us to forget stuff all the time. Remember a few years ago Victor went looking for a missing Adam. That was dropped, and the next thing we know Adam is an Ivy League grad.....

I love the actress that plays nuAbby. I so wanted to hate her when she took over the role of Lizzy-loved the previous actress. But I couldn't-she took the part and made it her own. And she will do the same as Abby. The writers just pushed it too far with the SORASing. They are getting too good at screwing things up!

I don’t like what Abby has become, but I think casting was great! I don’t think the previous "Abby" could’ve pulled this off! This actress plays the spoiled little rich girl quite well!! Given the little statements that oldAbby was making, though, I knew that they were setting us up for something!! Do you guys remember when she was saying things about always being ignored, or overlooked, etc! That was why she wanted to hang out with Ryder and Daisy. HA!...and now she wants a reality show!!.... well...go figure!!!

I just think they made her way too old. Kyle was just on a few months ago, and he was a little boy! He and Abby should be near the same age. Reality doesn't mean much these days though.

I loved Lujack, too. Especially with Beth. My blood pressure goes up every time I see a glimpse of Let's Make a Deal.

I think it is time to mix up the couples a bit. Nick & Sharon and Phyllis & Jack. Even Lauren & Michael are a little stale. Maybe its just Lauren, she needs to get with Paul or something. I think he was still kinda smart back then right? The entire Winters family needs to just move OUT.

I think my favorite couple on the show is Katherine & Murhpy! They had better not mess with them!!!

Ah, the Hoff has arrived in Genoa City. Is it just me, or is he embarrassing to watch? I look at him & don't see Snapper at all (I did watch it wayyyyyy back when...when he was young Snapper)...I don't even see Mitch from Baywatch (was that his name?) All I see is him on the floor slurring with a hamburger. Sad but true!

Ahhhhhhhhhh Lujack & Beth....that was my alltime favorite soap couple. Those were great years on that show...when Lujack was the bad guy & she was the sweet girl but they fell in love...when they went to NYC with Rick & Mindy....I think it's time to go to You Tube & look up those oldies but goodies....

Snapper Foster is Jill's brother and Liz is her mother.(only now we know it is through adoption)Liz used to work as Mrs. Cs. housekeeper back in the day. She is how Jill came to know Mrs. C. Jill did her nails back then and fell in love with Mrs. Cs husband. Hence, the long standing war between the 2 of them. When the show began in the 70s, the Foster and Brooks families, along with the Chancellors, was where it all began. Snapper Foster married Chris Brooks. There was also Leslie and Laurie and Brooks. Then there were the Prentiss boys-Luke and Lance. Leslie was in love with Lance, but he wanted Laurie. Blah, blah, blah. Then, somewhere along the line, Mrs. C brought in the Great Victor Newman! I believe the Reed sisters were already part of the cast by then. I think Nikki was with Greg Foster at some point in the early days of the show.
Honey will have to fill you in on all the backstory when she returns. She is great at that stuff.
