For those who have done the YES progamme so far - was it hard getting to the parks by bus that early? Our course is at 8:30 and though I think we are pretty close (AKL to AK park, LOL), I'm still nervous. I thought the buses ran early but the CM told me only 1 hour before park opens which means 1/2 hour before the course.

I'm nervous already.
 
When we stayed at BC last year, my grandson had a YES program at EPCOT. So we just walked over, through the International Gateway entrance. But if the program were at another theme park, we would likely have taken a taxi, to be sure and get there on time. That's what we were advised to do by the CM's at BC. If you are going from AKL to AK, you should be fine on the bus. But I would check with Guest Services at your hotel, to see what time the first bus typically arrives at AKL, just to be safe.

They did not start my grandson's program right at 8:30. Each group leader has a list, and some were waiting for stragglers, etc. So if you are a few minutes late, don't sweat it. The info says arrive at 8:30, but people were still coming in at 8:50. We didn't get under way until about 9:00.

The program was fun. The kids enjoyed it.
