Y.E.S. program individual enrollment

My DS9 & I are both so disappointed....just got word that the February YES classes have been canceled due to not enough participants
What a bummer, because we come from the East Coast , it's difficult to actually coordinate with these class dates to begin with. DS is most disappointed to miss out on the Designing a Disney Story class.

That's sad! DD's class was cancelled last month too. I didn't tell her until we were in the park and she saw a class full of kids doing the leadership course. Individual enrollment is hit or miss. In 2013 she did a class with 2 other kids and the next day the class had over 15.

Our 4 children are registered for 5/30 Designing a Disney Story DCA and 5/31 Physics DL so please sign up so they don't get cancelled!
They already mailed us our tickets, which were a considerable discount over gate prices. And the classes are free, so not sure how they make this work, but I'm not complaining!

I'll submit a review when we return.

Reposting and asking if anyone can give details about what rides and/or shows these classes attend? I'm working on our touring plans and don't want to go on rides that we will do during the classes.

I know I'll probably get details from YES in a couple weeks, but I can't wait

We did designing a Disney story say DCA on 4/1 as a group and we did monsters inc, turtle talk with crush and the animation academy. We had 1 3rd grader, 4 5th graders, 2 7th graders and 1 8th grader. If all of the kids were 6th grade or older, they would have subbed tower of terror for monsters inc.

Yes. either 2.5 or 3 hours with starting time at 10:00 or 10:30.

I've found the prices for the classes, but I can't find how much of a discount that the park tickets are if you do a class.

We did classes at WDW a couple of years ago and the kids loved them. I didn't think about the classes in DL until I saw this thread!

I'm looking for pricing as well. Can someone find it and do a cost comparison for us? What does a regular price 3 day hopper ticket cost in comparison to the 3 day hopper with YES tickets? I can't find how much it costs for anything anywhere.

My ads do not like big rides such as TOT, space mountain, etc--does anyone know if the older sessions go on these rides? I would assume they would and wouldn't want her to feel left out. Thanks

Those were for everyone. You just needed to fill in how many were student participants and how many were guests and/or chaperones.
