Does anyone have one of these yet? It is something I look at every time I am in the craft store, yet I always hesitate to buy one. If there is anyone who has one, do you like it? Do you actually use it a lot? DH has been on my case about buying dust collectors. I guess he does have a point, there have been enough things that we just had to have and then used only once or twice. How expensive does it get buying all the refills too? Is it much worse than buying a million packets of sticky dots like I tend to do now? How many stickers can you make at a time? Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks so much!

I have the 500 which only does stickers, not laminating or magnet-making. I like it for little things like punches but it tends to get some of the gummy stuff on the front of bigger pieces. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I don't use it as much as I thought I would, but it is handy for those little pieces that are too small for a hermafix dot and a glue stick would be too messy.
I got it at Michael's with my 50% off coupon and would buy refills the same way.

I have the 510 and the 150. I use the 510 a decent amount, but the 150 is constantly being used. I use it for punchies, paper piecings, and of course my letter titles. I never pay full price, so wait for a good coupon and enjoy!

I have the little Xyron X. I originally bought it to make serendipity squares. I don't think I could make them without it. It's great for small vellum punches too. I can't say it is my most used tool but it does have it's place.

I have the big and little one (model #'s?) and I love and use them both a lot. I tend to buy the refills for the big ones with the 40% off coupon fron a.c. moore. Once you try it you will find a lot of uses for it. I use it quite a bit for kids school projects - saves a lot of messy gluing. Not a dust colletor in my house. Now if you want to talk about the cirlce cutter I bought from creative memories a few years back....hard to use and with a GLASS plate! I don't use it at all after getting into the colluzles.

I have the 900 and the little X. I just got back into scrapbooking and am finding them both to be very useful. I see myself using them quite a bit to save time, energy and expense. Some things are just to difficult to use the tape runner on, and others would take too much tape runner. So far at least, neither are dust collectors for me.

(I also bought them with %off coupons.)

I have the little X, which is a must have. The 510 doesn't get used that often, but does come in handy when you're using vellum so you don't see tape.

I, too, have the little Xyron X (the 150, I think). I love it! It has come in so handy for all the little things in my scrapbook- especially punches! If you want to try one first, try the little one. It is cheap, the refills are cheap, and, if it doesn't get used as much as you thought, it doesn't collect that much dust either! (Your husband should like that!;) ) Just a thought. I love mine, and I don't know how I scrapbooked without it!

I LOVE my little X! it's the coolest thing ever! :D I can't say enough good things about it. I also have the 500 which just makes stickers, but it gives you a 5 inch width so you can make bigger stickers than you can with the little X. maggie

I use my little X the most, I don't ever use my 850....but for some reason I'm wanting the new model now!

Thanks everyone for all the responses! I think I am going to see who puts out a good coupon this week and head over and buy myself one. :)
