We are going to WDW from December 25-Jan 1st. We have been there during this time before but we were always entering the park at rope drop or in the evening and didn't have a problem with parks closing. Will the parks close in the afternoon? Can we expect to enter a park at noon? I know it will be crowded but I'm thinking if we want to stop to see a parade etc.

No the parks won't fully close. Are you staying on site and/or are you AP holders? If you are you really have nothing to worry about.

If there's any phased closures it'll mainly just be affecting those with single day tickets

Good to hear for our circumstances!.

Thank you! We will be onsite with annual passes.

Really nothing to worry about then. Wdw parks have only closed a few times since they first opened. Still a chance, but it's highly unlikely for on site or AP holders

Glad to hear as we have an Ohana ADR at 9am, on Dec 31st, so won't get to MK until at least 11...plus a forever line to get in, I am sure. sigh. we are hoping to soak up the ambiance, hit 3 fastpasses, and maybe take the train before Dinner ADR at 530 at 1900 park fare.
