I've seen threads for tweens and smaller children but so far not for teens.

So what have your teens asked for or what do you plan to buy?????

It is such a hard age (my DS is 15) so any ideas would be great :goodvibes

I am in the same pickle!

I have 3 teenagers in the house.. DS14 (will be 15 at Christmas), DD16 (will be 17 by Christmas) and DSS18..

My DS14 just got an XBOX 360 recently, so Im sure I will be getting him a game or 2.. Some Derek Jeter cologne from Avon that he loves.. and something New York Yankees..

He really isnt asking for anything so not sure what else to get him.. Maybe a new IPOD..He's got ruined recently..

DSS18- No absolute clue!

DD16-- she's always hard to buy for.. she loves Pooh Bear so I'll get her something Poohbear related.. Bath and BodyWorks definitely.. and then probably some giftcards so she can go shopping at the mall..

I got broadway tickets for Hairspray to take my DD13 and DN13 But I love going too, so it will b a present for me too. DD13 wants a new cell phone and gift cards to stores like Abercrombie and Hollister (these kids r brainswashed!)
My DS12 is still into skatboarding, so Tony hawk is his fav ................wants a new skateboard, tonyhawk clothes and sneakers, and his first cell phone!
Other than that I have no clue!!!!!! Any suggestions?

Just subscribing because I have several college freshmen to buy for.... one of my own and a few others that are just about my own. :)

My DS13 wants video games, but I was thinking of getting him his 1st digital camera. They usually have some for pretty cheap on Black Friday. My sister lives with me also, she's 16 and I was thinking of getting her a refurbished IPod from the apple store online. I don't know what else, so I'm looking forward to hearing everyones responses! I liked the idea of the broadway show tickets- my sister would probably like that too!

How about a subscription to Netflix? A college freshman can always use gift cards for food (make sure it is on campus or nearby). A early teen girl would prolly like a manicure, pedicure, etc. Something special and lavish (to them!)

DD 14 is probably going to get a laptop and an iphone. :goodvibes

I got my 15 year old son a cool new laptop and a bunch of video games. My mom is probably buying all the kids Rock Band World Tour. Regular rock band was a huge hit here. If you want that I would preorder now.

I'd guess clothes and video games for my 13yo. He asked for some books for his birthday so that's also a possibility.

my DS asked for GPS and XM radio. I know XM always has specials come out around the holidays and I am hoping to get a deal on GPS at black friday. DDIL also wants GPS, so that maybe what I am getting several people this year.

DD has only asked for a new cell phone so thats what I will be looking out for.

I think I am just going to buy lots of gift cards too. DS can use the money from his script account for choir so I may as well get gift cards from them.

DS is 14 and heres what I am thinking: a game (or 2) for Xbox, clothes from American Eagle, gift cards for the local movie theater, axe for the stocking, itunes gift card.

DS 10 (will be 11) - Don't have a clue! Probably clothes, gift cards to Best Buy, Nintendo DS games.

I'm interested in ideas too.

My girls will probably get clothes and some games for Playstation and Xbox.

I think my older one wants a HS Class ring.

I did this for my DD last Christmas. I bought several different gift cards from places she likes (you could do food, movies, clothes store, etc.) and tied them to a ribbon so that when she pulled the top of the ribbon out of her stocking, the cards popped out one at a time. For a boy, you might get a cheap fish stringer and put them on it.

She loved the idea and the variety. :thumbsup2

DD will be 16 by xmas. She wants a new cell phone. We have the family share plan and are not due any upgrades until next june. I hate to pay over 300.00 for a phone, but I just might have to since that is the only big ticket item she wants.

She will be getting her license the end of March so I just might buy her some gas cards, and give her an IOU towards her insurance since as of now she works full time but it is volunter so she is broke :rotfl: .

I have a teen that will be 15 in December, so I have both a b-day and x-mas and I have absolutely no ideas.....UGH

Until DD14 got into playing music I had no clue what to get her. This year she's getting a new acoustic guitar and a few gadgets to go along with it.

My DS wants a digital camera, and I have enough rewards points to redeem for one, so we will probably do that along with some Itunes cards. He wants to go on a big trip this summer with Boy Scouts so we will probably give him some money towards that.
My kids like going away and seeing new places, so we've started substituting tangible items that they really don't need for experiences they want. This summer they wanted to go to Washington DC and they had a great time.

DD 15 (16 in Oct) wants a Mustang for Bday & Christmas:rotfl2: :rotfl:
Last year I purchased gifts cards
I-tunes
American Eagle
Abercrombie
Hollister
Sonic
Star Bucks
Mall Visa (gift cards)
Victoria Secret
Barnes & Noble
Nail Salon
& Others
Then I taped a hook on the back & hung them from the tree , ( I placed beside of the big tree Christmas morning) She LOVED it ... stated " I'm in gift card heaven " :)

So I'm probably do that again

Here's a pic of the tree ( you can't see all the gift cards)
