Our plans have changed and now we will be in Disney World the week of Dec 10th. Unfortunately, every restaurant I want is booked up for dinner. Any suggestions or any idea where we can go to for help? We will be staying at the Grand Floridian main building. Is concierge ever able to get ressies if it shows no availability on the computer? Does availability ever open up due to cancellations? Thanks for any help!

Just keep trying. Touring Plans has some kind of reservation finder, but I've not used it. There are cancellations all the time.

However, you may need to find some other restaurants to try. You are there during a free dining week, all those with free dining have been making ADRs for almost a month now.

Free dining!?! I forgot about that!! Boy do I feel stupid! Please forget this thread We'll just do Counter service, no biggie.

Don't worry about it, we go on 9th or 10th December every year until 26th, we don't participate in the DDP and always get TS ADR's. Every year, I keep a list of ones we didn't bag at the 180 day window, we just check every day and always manage to get what we want before we go. People change their plans all the time, especially in the days leading up to the ADR. Keep trying and you'll get what you want, I'm sure of it.

People cancel reservations all the time, especially close to the day of. Keep watching and stay positive!

How many are in the party? We checked often to see what was available and it was just my husband and I at the time. Even got a BOG for lunch the day before and ended up canceling it. Same with Yak and Yeti....snagged it in the morning we were at the park.

Thank you all for the encouragement!! I will keep checking and if I'm lucky maybe I'll bag a res! It's just me and hubby. But if we have to go Counter service, it's all good. We will be in Disney!!!

I don't do ADRs on park days. No matter when I go I've found that if you are willing to eat at non-standard hours and go with a second or third choice you will be fine.

Are you staying club level at GF? If year try contacting DSS. They were able to get some ADR's for me that were supposedly not available.
