We just added CG for xmas dinner to ADR's. DH and I had been there about 10 years ago and loved it. I have seen the regular menu on allears, but was wondering what they did differently for the holiday..anyone out there know? We ate at Artist Point last xmas and they had regular menu with one additional special entree, appetizer and dessert to choose from..just wondering. It will be DH, DS(15) and tow adult sisters and me. thanks

You can check out the Thanksgiving menus on allears, that may give you an idea about holiday offerings. We had CG booked for Thanks dinner, but due to limited menu, we changed it to another nite. I don't want my first time at CG to be a limited anything. I would rather have the entire menu to choose from!!!

We are booked for Christmas night too and I was told you could order off of the regular menu. I hope this is true. Anyone??

We had dinner at CG last Christmas. It is the regular menu with some holiday offerings on special. The warm chocolate volrana cake came with candy cane mint ice cream. We stepped out on the observation deck to watch the holiday version of Wishes. It was beautiful but windy & chilly. Bring a fleece jacket or something similar if you plan to head out there.

Thanks! I'm sure the meal will be a great holiday one. I was wondering if they would let us check-in at 9pm and then watch the fireworks from the observation area before we are seated for the meal or do you have to be already seated for your adr? MK is open late that night so we might break our rule of not going to MK on xmas, if some of the crowds have gone and we can get in around 10:30pm or so..just a thought.

We checked in and still had a bit of a wait for our table. They let you upstairs as soon as you check in so you can have a drink in the lounge while you wait. Unfortunately there was not a seat to be found in the lounge area, so we stood out by the observation deck to look at the view until they called us for our table. Wishes started soon after we sat, but they hold off with your meal until Wishes is over. A lot of people leave their seats to go out onto the observation deck. My point being that if they start before you are seated they will most likely wait to call you & if you are seated, you can get up.
