Since you are strolling the boards anyway to go to the BC, I would definitely sto in the YC and then around ot the BWI. We have stayed at the BWI around holiday time and the lobby was beautiful. Very quaint and old-fashioned. Charming is the word I am looking for. The WL and GF are beautifully decorated also.

thanks franw:D
this is good to know. i have not read too much about the decorations at BWI or YC so wasn't planning to tour at these, but i will now. do you know if it would be worth while to check out the swan or dolphin as well?

katypop - Post another query titled Swan/Dolphin Christmas Decorations and I'll bet you get lots of people who know abou tthe decorations there. I don't go into the S/D that often as the lobbies don't really feel like Disney to me so my initial instinct would be to go and spend more time at the Disney resorts. But don't forget to join in some of the lighting ceremonies. We went to one at Epcot and one at MGM and they were both lots of fun with special entertainment and a countdown. I am sure they have one at MK also. They also do a nice job over at the Marketplace with lights and I would imagine that not using the massive lighting display at MGM this year might mean even more lights distributed throughout the "world" although it is hard to imagine it even more festive than it was when we saw it. Did you get tickets to the Candlelight Processional? We really enjoyed that as well. Have a wonderful time. Nothing like a little pixiedust to start off the season

thanks again franw:D i like your idea of going to a couple of tree lightings and will try to fit these in, everything sounds so wonderful i can hardly wait to get there:D yes, i did get a ps for the CP dinner package. we also have tickets for 2 nights at mk for the xmas party. i think we will miss the tree lighting there though as we have ps for dinner both nights.

katypop - Sounds like you have all your bases covered and are going to have such a great time. We'll be there mid-November this year. Not late enough for the celebrations but we're hopeful that the decorations are up and trees lit. Just a thought, the time we went in early December we liked to freeze to death sitting at the CP as it was cold and windy and the wind coming across the lagoon was unbelievably cold. Pack a goretex type light windbreaker with a hood and hope you don't have to take it out of the suitcase. But if you need it -- it'll be a lifesaver. Not all the Mickey Mouse sweatshirts in the world will keep you warm under those conditions. Have a ball and I'll polish up the decorations before you get there.

we will definately pack some warm clothes but am really hoping we don't need them, we have only had april/may trips so far and the weather was 90's , hardly saw any rain:D i've read how cold and rainy it was last year, hope we don't get a repeat, but at least if we do we'll still be at disney;) hope you have a wonderful vacation too, try to take some time off from all that polishing;)
