Xmas day planning needed

HI,

Heres my plan for xmas day :

Get to MK around 10.30 am.

Have a PS for 11.15am at Plaza rest.

Soak up atmosphere and watch parade

Have PS for Cindys at 6.00pm

Watch fireworks and retire to resort.

What I am after is some sort of itinery as far as maybe doing some rides and times to get seated for parades etc.
Would love to hear from anyone with their previous itineries.

By the way we are staying on site as dvc and AP holders, did I hear that we will be the last to be refused entry to MK if park reaches capacity??
I hope that by getting there at 10.30am we will be ok.

Last year the park reached capacity super early. We had to wait for people to clear the park before they let more people inside. We arrived around 11am. As for rides, I think we used a fast pass for Buzz Lightyear. We rode the fast moving line rides, Pirates, Transit Authority and Tiki room. Those were the only rides we got on. The rest had really long lines and we weren't willing to wait. We watched the show at the castle and saw the afternoon parade. We left by 7pm because DS wanted to play with his new toys.

You'll need to go to MK earlier. It will likely be closed at capacity by 10:30am. Being on-property will help you get in after the park has closed to off-site guests, but on Christmas Day, MK will most likely be closed to ALL new guests by 10:30am. It will also take you longer than a half-hour to make it through the crowds from the entrance to the Plaza for your PS at 11:15am, so you'll want to get there earlier for that reason as well. On Christmas Day, they won't hold "no show" PS's for too long -- they'll have lines of people waiting for any open slot.

We got to MK really early on Christmas morning last year.We were able to ride alot(I guess people were enjoying their Christmas morning)We high tailed it out of there around 10am and while we were on the monorail,I couldnt believe the amount of people at the TTC waiting to get to the park.The road leading into the MK was backed up to the point where you see the ToT at MGM.We had a nice relaxing day at AK.They closed MK not too long after that.
