Xmas and NYE activities at SSR

Hello from SSR!!!
We just checked in yesterday and the weather has been beautiful!!! I should have brought more shorts-- LOL. We stopped in Community Hall and picked up the Holiday Activities at SSR--- I know some wanted to know what was going on for this year or next.
12/23--- 5pm to 7:30pm Celebrate the hoolidays with Disney Characters in the front lobby. We missed this

12/24--- 5pm to 9pm Don't forget to visit Santa Clause in the front lobby.
and Disney Characters from 5pm to 7:30.

12/31--- 9pm to 12:30am Ring in the new year at High Rock Springs Pool. Join us for bingo and other activities as well as a few other surprises. On the Rocks Pool Bar will be open late for refreshments and light snacks.


The only thing we've been disappointed about so far is abount all the Xmas sale merchandise t-shirts are pretty much out of stock-- no santa mickeys t's for us .

No mention of fireworks on NYE. I wonder if this has been cut as the result of PI clubs closing?

We get to SSR on Monday - so disappointed there is no mention of DTD fireworks this year. We requested a Congress Park, DTD view in hopes of seeing fireworks either from the room or a short stroll away at the quiet pool. Last years celebration looked like so much fun - oh well, plan B? We're open for suggestions.

I have heard that the DTD fireworks were cut this year. Hence the NYE party is at the main pool this year, and not at the Congress Park Pool.
