End of the year or end of the month? They usually do a couple of two week free listening periods every year, never seen them do one that lasts over a month that's why I ask.

Thanks. I thought until the end of the year seemed too long compared to what they usually do. I have it anyway so it doesn't affect me. I'm actually listening to it now through my Amazon Echo.

Nope, my car is less than a year old.

Leave it on for a bit. Sometimes it needs time for a signal to hit it.

I tried it out during the free listening period and definitely won't be subscribing. I don't know if it's where I live/work, weather, or if it's my equipment but I would lose the signal over and over again. I spent more time listening to dead air while the "acquiring signal" was lit up than I spent listening to music. Honestly I found the whole experience frustrating and I'm glad the free listening period happened now. I was seriously considering getting sirius radio for my commute. It would have been a waste of money.

Signal can get blocked by tall buildings or in hilly terrain. Honestly, it's just a subscription radio. With so many others forms of free music around, no plan to pay for it.
