There is some really nasty music on the radio now. The worst part is the tune is usually catchy and you don't really hear the words (or you can't understand them) then your kids tell you exactly WHAT it is you're singing!

I, personally, have no problem with that Big and Rich song.

It's some of the music on the OTHER stations who play, oh Eminem comes to mind, that I find myself changing the station from.

MTE::yes::

I don't think that song is vulgar at all....granted, the title may be racy, but the song itself doesn't have dirty words or swears.

When I was younger, i'd sing "Greased Lightning" and "Sandra Dee" from Grease...those songs were really dirty, and that was 20 years ago.

I probably wouldn't let a 4 YO listen to it, but I agree with the other posters that there are far more offensive songs on the radio right now.

I like that song by Big and Rich.
I agree with Hillbeans. I was always singing Greased Lightning when I was younger, probably 5 or 6 years old. It wasn't until I was a teenager and listened to the song again did I realize exactly what it was I had been singing along to. :eek:

I don't think the song is vulgar, but I don't like Big and Rich! I just think that they don't have good vocals at all! JMO

I don't like rap either, and well, 1st off country and rap don't mix and that is what I get from that song! :crazy2:

Not a fan of the song either, I always turn it off. I also don't like Rap. I listen to country first then the easy listeneing stations...I'm old!

It's a good song to dance to, I just don't let my kid listen.

However, we both sing to Grease. :eek:

So I bought the spurs and ten gallon hat for nothing :mad:

I actually like the song. As for vocals, check them out on one of their other songs on that CD - Holy Water. It actually sounds like a totaly different group singing. I think they really have a lot of range in styles of music.

Are there many cowboys in WV?! LOL

I have never heard the song that you are talking about. I had to go out to the internet and look it up to hear it.

I honestly have to say that I have heard worse than that. I agree with Stinkerbelle when Eminem comes on I change the radio station.
