I love your review of the tour. I'm thinking of taking it this trip one morning. The rest of my family has been on it already, so it should be a nice time for some "alone" time.

We arrived at the park later in the morning and headed straight for The Land and Soarin’ fast passes. The return time was for a couple hours later but that was ok because we were planning on going on the Behind the Seed’s tour at 11:15.
I choose this tour because it was something that I had never done before and I always try to find something new to experience. Also, Dave has a couple of green thumbs and I thought he might find it interesting. Plus it’s fairly short and inexpensive, so why not?! I have to say, I did enjoy it quite a bit. It made me want to go home and start growing Mickey shaped vegetables! (On second thought, I’ll leave that to Dave…) If you’re thinking about doing the trip and you are interested in gardening, I’d recommend it.

Here are some of the photos I took on the tour.

Fantastic installment!!! I loved the way you told you DBF and your opinions of the POFQ like that!!
I'm sorry it rained for your halloween party, but I am happy for you that it at least stopped for the parade and fireworks!!
I'm so sorry for the layoffs at work and that your friend was one of the people that got laid off. That must have been very difficult to go through. Thanks so much for these chapters. Looking forward to more!!
I forgot! Happy Mothers Day!!!!

We poked around the shops until it was time to check in at the Rose and Crown. There was still going to be a bit of a wait so Dave grabbed a beer, I got an iced tea and we settled in on the curb across from the pub. It ended up being the best place to people watch- ever! Earlier in the day, Alice and the Mad Hatter had chosen the pavement in that spot as the perfect place to draw a hopscotch course. I am now convinced that hopscotch is the way to world unity! Is seems that no one can resist a hopscotch course.

The view from our people watching spot. You just know the gals in the foreground were tempted to play hopscotch! :lmao:

I believe Dave had the steak and fish which he enjoyed very much. I think I had some sort of a beef or lamb stew.
I do know that I had a blue cocktail with a blue light-up cube in it!
And we enjoyed our desserts. I think I had an apple crumble thing. Davey had the sticky toffee pudding which he proclaimed to be the best dessert in the world, ever!
I did indeed have the steak and fish. I believe Janet had pot roast, but I could be wrong. The blue drink was the Year of a Million Dreams-tini, or something like that. I also had a "half and half" (half Harp lager, half Guinness) that I enjoyed very much. For dessert I couldn't decide between the Chocolate Guinness Torte and sticky toffee pudding, so I asked our server what she recommended. She replied "Ooh, sticky toffee pudding is my favorite!", so I gave it a try. Now I have a new favorite dessert.:thumbsup2

A picture of the blue drink.

Very cool pictures from the tour Dave. Thank you for sharing them!!
No problem.:goodvibes Janet's a much better writer than I am, I have no problem leaving the trip reports to her. I'll chime in now and then if I have something to add.

I think with the internet and people using it so much it has actually hurt the travel agents, as people have so many opportunities to find "good deals". I can see where it would make the job a lot more volitile!
Good luck to you my dear! You should become a reviewer!! Love your style of writing!!
And Dave, it's fun to have you jump in and give us the male perspective also!!
You guys are great!! Thanks again!

Dave had a Halloween-themed t-shirt to wear so he didn’t need as much time to get ready as me. We are big Halloween fans so we were very eager to go to this party.

My shirt was yellowish green with black lettering that read "No, I am not wearing a mask!". I received a lot of comments on that shirt, from guests and cast members alike, ranging from "are you sure?" to "could've fooled me". The cast member who took my order at Sleepy Hollow burst out laughing when he read it, and kept apologizing as he continued to giggle. One of the cast members handing out candy at one of the trick or treat stations told me I won for best costume. I think that shirt was the best $5 I spent in preparation for our trip. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the shirt. In fact, most of my pictures from that night didn't turn out very good.

I don’t recall if we had dessert – I’m sure Dave will chime in if we did. I think instead we got a sweet snack back at the hotel.
We stopped at the food court for cheesecake to take back to the room.

Here are a few pictures from our day at MGM.

Good TP so far. I like when Dave chimes in with his thoughts and pics.

I hope we like POFQ.

I also want to get a pearl now.

Can't wait to go...:cool1:
