X-pass

Has anyone heard of x-pass? It is supposed to replace fast pass and you would plan rides and dining and meet and greets all before you arrive. Do you think it would be offered to dvc members?
I read you would have to book thru Disney to be able to purchase this option

No one knows any details at all. So far, just rumor and speculation---most of the "details" that have been circulated are sourced to Jim Hill, who has a spotty record for accuracy.

Sounds like an awful idea to me. I'd hate having to constantly check the "schedule." I think fast pass works pretty well, all Disney would need to do is make it exclusive to those staying at a Disney resort or DVC by use of the room keys instead of park tickets. That is a much less costly solution that would fit most folks travel needs.

I like this idea! We went to Universal last year and stayed onsite just to get the front of the line benefit. I would have no problem if WDW restricted fast passes to Disney hotel guests only (including DVC members, of course.)

Personally, I love the idea! I'm a planner though. I would love to be able to go to AK in the morning knowing I could ride TSM at DHS later that day! I hate having to do Rope Drop at DHS just because of that ride.

i agree. this would be very helpful when dh has an early tee time, but wants to meet up with us later to go on our favorite attractions. however, i am not willing to pay extra for it.
