Tried to reserve a GV at my 11 mth window to no avail so I reserved 2 2brms now my question is has anyone done this before and what is the chance of getting both rooms close to each other???

Set your group up as a Grand Gathering, and they will do as much as possible to have your rooms near one another.

Sounds like you should have walked the reservation. Which resort are you staying at? If you are at the BW, there are only seven GVs.

Tried to walk the resie but when I called at 8:58am was told that the 24th wasn't avail but the other days were to call back on the 25th so for the past 4 days when I've been told the days were available and calling in and getting picked up by 9:00 or 9:01 only to be told they were not I had to go with the 2 2bdrms(which I walked). Not sure how this was possible?

You probably needed to start walking earlier in the month, maybe around the 16th.
