WHAT the devil happened with the last two eliminations?? The show ran long and our DVR stopped right at 9:30. I have no clue how it happened. No way they snuck two more eliminations in without eating intot he vast majority of New Girl.

Grrrr. So was it Melanie or Rachel and Stacy or the other chick?


Nevermind. I'm FURIOUS. Stupid DVR. I can't believe I missed out on that ending. I want to put my foot through the screen. Honestly though, I can't believe how LONG the show ran. Did it completely overrun New Girl??

Melanie got cut, Rachel goes on. Than Simon said he made a mistake and they brought Melanie back.

I wasn't a big Tia fan but I did think she sounded good last night.

Took us some sleuthing to figure out what went wrong DVR wise. The Listing was wrong on our guide. It said X-factor ended at 9:30 and then "Newe Girl" was on. I just check TV Guide and apparently X-factor was TWO hours, ending at 10pm. So we got screwed. I HATE computers. I really do. I wonder who else got messed up.

Anyway, I am SO steamed about the girls group. JAzzlynn and Caitlin should've gone through over Tiah and Simone (who are essentially the same annoying performer).

With the Boys, I was bummed that Nick Voss got cut but otherwise I'm okay.

With the over 30's I wish Tiger made it through, and while I am happy for Dexter on a personal level, he isn't good enough.

With the groups, my only wish was that The Anser would've beat out the blase Stereo Hogzz, but I am happy with all the rest.

Can't wait to see where the season goes (and to see if Josh Krajcik gets a makeover).

I KNOW!!!! and it is killing me that Simone went through! She is awful, nothing stands out about her except she forgot the words to your song and then sang some awful rubbish, Jazzlyn was ROBBED!

DH & I are looking forward to next tuesday, it is going to be interesting to see the dynamic of the show once everybody gets the make over & start the voice coaching process.

It looks like we may have an early DIS favorite. I also really liked Josh's performances so far. His 'First Time I Ever Saw Your Face' was another thing of beauty in that beautiful Pacific setting in front of Nicole and Enrique.

Josh and Leroy are my top two right now. I didn't agree with all of the selections but I am OK with most of the groupings except for Simon's girls. What was he thinking? He picks Simone and Tiah over the others? I hope they go out fast.

I think Simon's choices are going to backfire when America votes Simone and Tia out early. If everyone recalls that guy in the early auditions who was a total jerk to Simon but a decent singer but got cut because Simon said America wouldn't vote for an attitude like that...Well

I'm happy Josh went through, can't wait to see how they make him over for the show. I loved hearing him sing "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", I just melted. I'm already looking forward to buying his album!!

I was kind of surprised L.A. didn't put Brennin Hunt through. Even though he's kind of stuck on himself I thought he had the looks and voice to go through. And I was disappointed that he let the brat kid, Brian go through. And Chris too, yes he has a nice enough voice but he has so much baggage with the addictions, and I'm just afraid that if he goes very far it'll all go to his head and he'll get sucked right back into the drugs. I wouldn't have picked him to go through, he hasn't been clean long enough.

Don't care at all for the group of kids they put together from solo acts, Intensity is what they call themselves? I kind of feel bad for a couple of the other groups (can't remember their names) who have been working together for a long time, they got cut but Intensity got chosen to go through.

I was bummed when Simon cut Melanie, but so glad he "made it right" and went to her home to ask her to come back.

Looking forward to next week.
