We are looking at Wyoming for our first ABD next summer with our kids - it will be the first time any of us have been to that part of the country, sad to say. With some of the trips to Europe, it's pretty easy to decide to do an extra night or two on the front- or back-end and do some additional sight-seeing. If you've done Wyoming, is there anything "extra" to do or see either before or after the scheduled itinerary? I'm guessing more than a day or two could be filled in Jackson Hole on the front side?

You'd have to do some driving, but a trip to the Black Hills/Devil's Tower or up to Glacier National Park.

Right around there, we had a great time renting ATV's & now you may be able to rent side by sides (off road golf carts).
