Wyndham Palms questions

Wyndham Palms looks nice. We are trying to plan a somewhat last minute trip and looking at different options. We don't want to rent a house and we don't want to do a timeshare presentation. Can WP be booked through Hotel Kingdom (or elsewhere) for a reasonable price without the presentation? Also, what are the grounds like? It says you can't be near a pool and need to take a trolley to the pool! Any opinions/better options? We need a very clean 2 bedroom. THanks.

We booked the Wyndham Palms through hotelkingdom.com at the rate of $89 per night. We did not have to attend a timeshare presentation at this price. We had a very nice two bedroom, two bath villa with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, 52 inch tv, screened-in balcony, master bedroom with king sized bed and huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom had two double beds and another bathroom. There was a large dining area with seating for six. Our building was only two months old, everything was new. It was very nicely decorated and over 1500 square feet. It was very, very nice and quite large.

We were not near a pool. Because of the heat, we would have had to take the car to a pool. We were only there for two nights, so we didn't use the pools. They also had "bus stops" where you could wait to be picked up in golf carts to travel around the resort.

Although some of the buildings are far away from the pools, some are also very close. Buildings 10 and 12 are closest to the main pool/breakfast area, which is toward the back of the resort. Buildings 18-21 are closest to the courtyard pool, which is near the entrance to the resort. Buildings 22-29 are the buildings that are more isolated and are the farthest away from the pools.
