I know Wyndham Bonnet Creek is an awesome place to stay! It looks beautiful. Do any of you know anything about the Cypress Palms? Is it all laid out like giant hotel?

It’s a series of 4 & 5 story connected timeshare buildings set front to front / rear to rear about 30 degrees off center. The Front of the buildings have covered exterior walkways on each level that connect all the buildings together. Each building has 2 or 3 sets of stairs on these walkways and there is about 1 elevator for each pair of buildings. Check-in (Front Desk) is a separate building located on the west end of the parking lot. If you are not totally confused by this description take a look at the ASCII depiction below and you will be. :duck:

I've only stayed at the Cypress Palms. I love it!! It's so close to the parks without being on property and I've never had a bad experience there. I oped out of the presentation each time and though they tried to push it a few more times I never felt uncomfortable about it and was firm in my answer. Only downside is their lobby is tiny for a complex of it's size... expect to be waiting in LONG lines to check in.

Thanks! That makes sense. I always worry about people staying below us because my boys a really active (especially early in the morning). Some of the other timeshares are on one level.

There are multiple buildings (12? 15?) all quite densely clustered side-by-side around a small lake. As PulsarIII noted above, they are 4-5 stories high.

The Welcome Center/check-in building is on the far end of the complex, while the Activities building is on the other end.

We had a good stay, but parking was a regular (and frustrating) issue on our October trip. We routinely had to park a LONG way from our building when we returned in the evenings, even though multiple buildings were under renovations and didn't even have any guests staying there. I would fear what kind of parking woes there would be if the resort were at full capacity.

Here are some pictures from our most recent stay, to give you a better visual:

I agree parking is difficult but I have stayed here when the complex was at capacity once before (no buildings under renovation) to the point where they offered me 5 free nights at any wyndham resort just to take a downgrade unit. Parking was annoying but never an issue for me and we'd get back very late at night every night.

We were in building 3. Twice, we had to park outside the Welcome Center (building 12-13 area) and walk back to 3 when we arrived back after midnight.

Had we had small children, it would have been totally unacceptable. It will be the sole reason we would hesitate to book there again.
