Hello ALl,

Has anyone stayed here before. I see on the Wyndam Vacation site (the timeshare one) that they have a vacation for $199 for 3 days and 2 nights plus a disney gift card.

I am wondering if it is worth it. Any help woudl be great

It's a very nice resort; however, make sure that this deal includes staying at the actual resort. Many times Wyndham puts you up in a nearby hotel and then you just tour the resort. If it includes a stay at the resort you would be in nothing smaller than a 1 BR as there are no studios at this resort.

Janet is correct: Wyndham tours almost always put you up in a serviceable (but not "super nice") hotel nearby rather than the resort---all the better to illustrate the difference between hotels and timeshares.

Thank you so much guys :)

I just called and it does include a stay at the Bonnet Creek. WoW!!!!!

Here is what is says further:

Of course it has an expiration date.

Do you have to do the Sales/Tour thing? If so, be prepared for 2 to 3 hours, so I've heard.

That being said, we've stayed at Bonnet Creek twice and LOVE it! Great location and super nice accomodations.

I am Interested in knowing about a Tours if you have to As Well. They have nothing on their website about that deal.. Where did you get it?

If Not I am Certainely Booking ASAP, thats a Great Deal.. Keep Us informmed

Hi, We stayed there 5 or so months ago and it was bar none our favorite Stay in Orlando.. It was a fabulous resort!!
That being said if you are only going for that amount of time giving up so much time for the "preview" IMO isn't worth your time.. besides that if you are going to move to another resort after your stay there again a big inconvenience and much of a day lost moving resorts.
Take a look at timeshare owners renting out weeks. You can get an entire week for around $650 in a 2 bedroom! We found a great deal doing this and were thrilled with our stay and the cost!
Once we were there they offered us free tickets and $100 gift card to do the timeshare thing but because one of our children was so young and both parents had to attend (they said we could not "tour" with the children) we declined. They phoned every morning trying to "sweeten" the deal but we never ended up attending even on the last day when they said we could bring our youngest child with us (besides the baby I wasn't thrilled with leaving my 6 year old with strangers).
I would be very wary of betting my actual accommodations on a timeshare preview but I would stay there again in a heart beat and attend the timeshare thing for the goodies if i had the time :)
Let me know if you decide to stay without the timeshare and I can give you some leads on owners who are renting at great prices!
Hope this helps! :)

Here is the exact link to FairFieldGetaways.com

It really is a great deal. It does require the tour but, since you get to actually stay there it might be worth lookinginto further.

If you want to take advantage of this deal, you'll have to hurry. This offer is only available until July 29, which is tomorrow. This is what it says on the BC website: "Please call now to reserve this limited-time getaway. You must check-in Sunday - Thursday between July 13, 2008 and July 29, 2008.

I wish this offer was available when I went last year. They put me at the Grosvenor (Regal Sun) for two nights for free, if I went to the timeshare sales pitch. Actually it wasn't totally "free". I had to pay the occupancy tax and a daily resort fee.

There are two reasons that you probably will not be able to get this promo offer. The special deal is specifically designed to get people to take the sales tour. WyndhamTrips and Getaways are all solicitations. If you cannot or will not meet the income and tour requirements, then the promo deal won't be available to you.

Secondly, looking online as an owner, not a single night is available during your dates in any size unit. Sorry. I would not expect them to allow promo stays during Christmas week anyhow.

Yes, I have done a Wyndamn tour in the past in San Antonio, so I am aware of how things are done. I really dont mind the sales tour but another previous poster said that kids were not allowed to 'tour". When we were in SA we were allowed to leave my dd in their sort of kids club during that time, but now that we have a small one, they may not allow him to go at all.

Maybe the info could help someone else. Thanks so much :) Isnt that old saying true???? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

But one day I would not minds staying there.
