The 8 and over applies to the Warner Brothers tour, I am guessing because it is on a working set they have safety things to consider and have it so only 8 and over can go on the studio tours.

I don't know how strict they would be with ID, I can't recall when I went if they asked to see our ID or not
 
I suppose you would just need to be prepared to be turned away. :confused3
 
On the Warner Bros studio Tour website it only mentions adults have to show a government issued I.D , maybe email the tour company or email Warner Brothers studio and ask if you need to provide a I.D for your child because then if you don't you might be able to get away with just saying she is 8 .
