WWYD? Which stroller rental would you go with?

I have two boys, age 2 and 7. My 7yo is about 40 lbs and 46 inches tall, 2yo is about 30 lbs and 30-32 inches tall.

I have a reservation with Apple Strollers for a City Mini Double for $45 but the height limit for it is 45 or 46 inches (depending on what website you are on) and it says it's recommended for age birth to 5.

I am looking at City Mini GT Double from Orlando Stroller Rental for $110. The GT has a height limit of 49, recommended for birth to 7. I can also request a rain cover.

And lastly, there is a BOB Revolution Duallie from Kingdom Strollers for $105. Height limit listed as 47 inches, comes with a rain cover.

Supposedly, all three of these companies can still deliver to bell services, so that shouldn't be an issue and the listed price includes insurance.

WWYD? Rent the cheapest without a rain cover (I am told that is pretty important to have at WDW in September...) and that the older child may not fit in (yes, he would be walking mostly anyway) OR pay basically double for a 'better' stroller?

If you would choose the GT or BOB over the regular Mini, which one is better and why? I have never used any of these strollers. I did go to our local baby store hoping to see one in person ( and see if my DS would fit in the Mini), but they didn't have any.

Size wise my kids were always fine in citi mini. DD 7 was fine. She was 47.5 inches. BUT you will want to rent parent console from apple. It is $5. Without it there is nowhere for drinks/sunglasses/little stuff. It came with stroller when we rented from OSR. But you can't beat apple's rates. I think you can rent rain cover too. Or just buy your own and take it.

We rented from Magicstrollers.com a few months ago for our 2 1/2 year old twin grandsons and loved the citi-mini double.

It was in great shape, and I think your children would fit just fine.

The company is able to deliver to Disney, so no issue there.

We weren't used to dealing with strollers, but loved this one. Easy to get on and off bus's, easy to push around.

bumping because I'm wondering the exact same thing... My boys are skinny lightweights, but are a little tall. 48 and 46 inches. I'd prefer the city mini due to ease of use, but if we really need the bigger one, then we'll deal.

My daughter is about 46-47" tall and about 48 pounds. I took her to a local baby store a couple of weeks ago and tried out the strollers. The city mini GT was a better fit than the city mini, but the city mini will work. The canopy touched her head some in certain positions, but barely and she said it was ok. We are going with the cheaper city mini from Apple. No more than she will be riding we decided it wasn't necessary to move to the gt.

When I called Apple to add the parent console, they asked me if I wanted a rain cover so I know they do have them.

We used the mini with my 7 yr old DD in may from apple. It worked fine and she had no problems. Apple offers both the parent console and the rain cover you have to call and request it. Definitely a good idea for a Sept trip. We just got back and had a couple of down pours. Left bad for all those parents with soggy strollers.

When I rented in April it was $5 for console and $5 raincover. The cover I got tho wasn't a city mini cover. It didnt exactly fit right- we had rain and kids feet/stroller got a bit wet. Not good for a washout but it'd work for a sprinkle. I'd ask specifically for a city mini cover.

We rented a double, it might be diff w/ a single also.

Were the double strollers ok to move around in the crowds? I'm trying to find a sit and stand type stroller to rent, thinking it might be easier to move around people.
