WWYD? split stay DVC, cash - DDE vs DP?

8/12-17 VWL (1night cash disc, 4nights pts), 8/17-20 AKL (rack rate), 8/20-26 BCV (5nights pts, 1night cash disc. Husband joining son & I during last night at AKL and staying thru till the end.
Will need DDE for the DVC stay. Thinking of the Dining plan for AKL stay. Is it worth it for us or should we stick with DDE the entire time? We already have APs and returning park hoppers, Universal tickets, etc so dont need admission for anything.

If you are paying rack rate for AKL, you may as well go ahead and add the dining plan. You will have to buy a 1 day ticket but you would get 3 days free dining. You can hold onto that 1 day ticket and apply the value towards your next AP.
