I think they're most often called "goodie bags" here, but I have heard them called loot bags, treat bags, favor bags, etc. I knew what the OP was talking about from the title.

I don’t mean this snarky either but you think differently when you have kids. Majority? I don’t know but it’s not uncommon either.
