I have 2 days off in March during Spring Break where I have the option of going on the re-imagined Wonder for 3 nights out of PC or a 4 night out of Miami on the Magic.

I have been on the Dream twice, but haven't tried the classic ships yet. I am intrigued on going on a recent reno of the Wonder and their new Tiana restaurant but Magic would give me an extra day and be closer to home(Miami)

Any suggestions?

seriously, i don't know...
there are pros and cons as you've stated...

i love the classic ships (much better than the dream), so i really don't think you can go wrong either way

Yeah, I'm having a hard time making a decision....3 days go by so fast that I'm leaning 60/40 towards the Magic as it's an extra day.

Does the Magic include a stop at Key West? If so, I do the Magic for sure. I do agree with you about wanting to see the new Wonder though, we're booked for next spring.

I'm going with the Wonder on this one - I'd love to see what they do with the renovations, and sadly I wasn't impressed with the Magic in any way when we sailed her for the first time earlier this year. I can't disagree that longer is generally better, but in this case for me at least, renovated might win out!

No it doesn't Bahamas only...there is a 5 day preceding this one that does...but would need to take an extra day off so not sure I can do that one.

She's from south Florida so key west means nothing to her.
I like Key West....been there many times...it's not a make or break thing for me.

Same with Bahamas....it's more about the cruise for me when it comes to Disney rather than itinerary as all their ports are repeats for me. Though I do love CC.

I don't know that necessarily follows.

I live in Southern CA and l love Disneyland (go frequently).

I will go frequently also.

But if you live in La and the cruise was stopping at San Diego. That wouldn't be a draw for you to go on that cruise. Because you can easily get there by car. That's what I meant. You still might go on that cruise. But you wouldn't be like ya the cruise is stopping in San Diego I have to go on that cruise.

I think you might be underestimating the ease of getting to Key West! I've never done it in under three hours from Miami, and that's assuming there are no issues on US 1. I can't speak to the OP's preferences, but I was born, raised and lived much of my adult life in Florida and Key West is always a draw.

I put a 3 day hold on the magic, I want to sleep on it....and see what my options are at work to see if I can squeeze another day off..and do the 5 day Magic. Thanks for all the recommendations!

Sounds like you're looking at the same time frame I am in March...thanks for asking since I'm debating the same question :)
