It's early, I'm not too terribly worried, but I figure just in case... where you would go for a fantastic dessert in MK??

My dad will be celebrating his birthday while we're in WDW and we've got breakfast ADR's made (his favorite meal of the day) and were planning on doing the Wishes Dessert Party to round out the day (who DOESN'T love dessert??).

What alternate plans would you make to celebrate a birthday in style at MK if the DP isn't extended into October?

You might want to consider the Dessert Party they hold at the F & W Festival in EPCOT. They haven't posted what days it is being held yet but last year they held one each week on either a Thursday or Friday night. They had much fancier desserts and a mix of different drinks including coffee, tea, lemonade and several other fruit drinks, wines & liquors. I know you said MK but this would be another option. I'm not overly fond of the TS dining choices in MK.

Personally I would take a wishes or illluminations birthday cruise over the dessert party anyway.
