Okay, so now I am torn . . . The sparkly Mickey head bag was released today, and when I went back to look at it, I noticed they had this bag back in stock. I love this bag and was disappointed when it sold out before. It has two different crossbody straps and they can be attached to the smaller insert if you just want to wear a little bag. I can only get one bag, so I don’t know which to get. I am really leaning towards this one . . .

That purse is really cute, can't beat the classic Mickey and Minnie! I have a white Dooney with Tinkerbell on it and I have to be careful what I wear it with as I have had the color from the fabric I'm wearing stain the back, dark jeans are the worst for this.

I really like the white bag. They sold out of the sparkly Mickey yesterday, but I don’t feel sad about it, so not buying was probably the right choice. The tote is really calling to me, but I have so many tote bags already. Decisions, decisions . . .

Dark denim is horrible about staining, especially if it gets the least bit damp. Nothing worse than staining your leather car seats with your jeans . . .

If it makes you feel better, they look like Ronald MacDonald shoes from the top 😂
Ha. Those colors though were still really pretty. The price on Hokas is shocking (to me). Especially when my daughter calmly told me I really need for Disney. She can afford. I certainly cannot. I would rather put the $165 toward an airline ticket to GO to Disney (again)!

It’s so difficult to buy clothes online. I saw a really cute outfit last spring and ordered it for summer. Normally I wear a tall length in pants because my legs are on the long side, but it only came in regular length. Fine, I think to myself, I will just get some cute flat sandals if it’s a little on the short side. So it arrives, and the pants are looooooong! I took a three inch hem and they were still too long! I ended up hemming them almost six inches so they weren’t dragging the ground in the back. The only thing I can figure is that they wanted me to wear six inch platforms/heels with them, although that is not what was pictured on the model.

Sorry your clothes weren’t as flattering as you had hoped.
Agreed 100%. I buy most of my shorts at Gap and it drives me insane how despite it being the same brand, the shorts fit differently than what is shown in the model photos. Also I've had it where I buy khaki shorts in two different colors in the same size and they fit completely differently. Like one of them is too small or big.

For tops I buy mens fit ones. I find that sweaters and long sleeve shirts for men are better quality than what is offered for women.

...and another thang...what is the deal with practically needing an instruction manual to put on some of the clothes. It took me five minutes to get one dress on 😄
There is a Gen X woman on Instagram who sews and makes homemade versions of fashionable things and wears them around, some of her clips are trying on ridiculous things in stores - you might like her peachesanddiesel104 she totally cracks me up all the time

Part of it is how the clothing is produced. They have machines that cut the pieces out to be sewn together. Over the years they have increased the number of layers they are cutting at one time. When they do that the fabric can stretch or twist, causing the layers to be cut slightly different. The more layers cut together, the greater the variance will be. This can not only lead to size varying from one pair of shorts to the next, but seams can be crooked which leads to a bad fit. I have had pants where one leg was measurably wider than the other, and the seams were wavy instead of straight. There is no quality control in women’s clothing until you get to the really expensive stuff.

I ended up with a middle of the road leather purse. Not cheap but not $500. I went pretty cheap on the shoes , but they were cute and look like they'll be comfy. A few Brighton accessories. And a new slim leather wallet to put all the money I've saved this week. HA!

I got all of that for $500.

Fancy shoes and purses can only go so far. Sometimes a sparkly wig and some giant sunglasses are enough to jazz it up. Too much is never enough when it comes to razzle dazzle.
Sometimes...but just sometimes...I'm either scared of you...or in awe.

Nice new avatar 😜
