WWYD: Grandma might not arrive in time for dinner

The options as I see them:
1. If your mom is OK with a limo or a taxi, keep the current ADR (You could totally surprise her and be in the limo waiting for her, which might be pretty cool).
2. If your mom is more comfortable sticking with ME, change to the 4:10 so the kids get the GG experience but keep trying for a later time, too. It sounds like the 5:20 isn't going to work unless Mom is OK with option #1, so changing to the 4:10 doesn't hurt you and you can still try for later.

Talk to your mom and see how much taking ME matters to her and go from there.

Well that sounds a bit harsh. people have asked why we have to be together every moment. Maybe I should add: 5 years ago, I took her grandchildren and moved to China to support my husbands's career. while there, we had another child. This night in particular will be the first time she has seen any of us in a year. that is why it is a big deal. Unfortunately, I made the ADRs before I knew her flight schedule.

People can only respond to what you write.

Nothing in your OP said anything about China or meeting your new child.

I may have been short in the response to taking ME to another resort, but my main point was more of a "Don't worry be Happy" "its a vacation you will still have time together" kind of post. I'm also at work and I worry sometimes I spend too much time on these boards during the day so I try not to write long posts but thats my problem. :goodvibes

Back on topic. I have read if she has checked bags, a taxi or limo doesn't save much time over ME since now you are waiting for luggage instead of waiting to check in for ME. Some say it can take longer some say it could be shorter. You also have to get her to Epcot.

Maybe the car can pick her up, wait as she drops off her stuff with Bell Services and then takes her to the easiest entrance for her to get to you at Epcot (Hopefully others can help here).

I would say take her directly to Epcot but I don't think there is anywhere to store even a carry on.

One other out of the box suggestion is I'm assuming you don't have a car, well rent one just for that day, pick her up, go to Epcot and leave the luggage in the trunk.

good luck
