WWYD: get a/c or a master bath?

I agree with most of the others.... A/C. Then again I'm from S. Florida (currently living in central Fla.) and I would DIE w/out A/C. :lmao:

It's not the fact that there's a pocket door. That does provide plenty of privacy. But it would be awkward to be taking a shower in the room where my DD and their friends were hanging out. The sink/mirror area is all out in the open, and I'd be there putting on my makeup, doing my hair, etc. - - awkward/no privacy. Granted, it wouldn't happen often, but if they had a sleepover, and they were all sleeping late, it would be really inconvenient for me to take a shower, or even brush my teeth!

There is a half bath downstairs. But it's just a pedestal sink, not really room for "getting ready".

is it all out in the open or back in a niche sort of. You could always have a curtain rod and hang a curtain to block it off when needed until you get the funds to do the bath. And for the FEW times you'd have to adjust, air wins in my opinion, unless your kids will be having friends over 24/7.......

I'm from Texas and there would be NO choice from me. I would have the A/C.

For the occasions when your daughter has friends over and you need to get ready, just move your "getting ready" stuff to a dresser downstairs. Everything can be done downstairs other than the shower. I would put up with this minor inconvenience before I ever lived without A/C.
