WWYD? Free dining and Grand Gathering booking

I have 3 of our 5 rooms already booked with the Disney Visa FD offer.

I have to call tomorrow and add the other two rooms.

We have been assigned a GG#.

Do I book through the normal res ph # OR do I have to call Grand Gatherings.

It is really important I get all of these rooms in the same hotel, so I don't want to be messing around getting transferred instead of booking! LOL

Also, has anyone added a person to a FD room later, but still during the sale dates? (Like not adding someone now, but by June?) My mom thinks she can talk Dad into it, but I don't want to wait around to book their room. Trying to decide whether I should include him now or wait. Hmmm...

Any advice would be appreciated.

Why would you have not booked all the rooms with the Visa offer and have the other guests pay you back for the deposit?? Was there a limit to the number of rooms per cardholder??

Did Grand Gatherings book the original Free Dining reservations? Definitely book any additional rooms with Grand Gatherings so that they can have everyone under the same number. This helps them to block off a set amount of rooms at the same location.

Right. They limited it to 3 rooms. She even tried to book another one for me after telling me that, no go.

I don't know if I booked through GG the first time. I called the 1-800 and pushed the number for having more than 8 in my party.

But the CM gave me a different number for contacting GG directly. Forgot to ask if that was how we were to handle everything from that point?

I would call the same number you originally called, going through the same prompts and using the other reservation number to guide the CM when booking the next couple of rooms. They will then probably put you through to Grand Gatherings once you've made the other reservations for the extra rooms. I'll be going through the same thing with our family.

I would call the Grand Gathering # since I read that someone was waiting of the regular reservation line and then had to be transferred to the GG line and she was on the phone forever.

Thanks for the heads up. I decided to call GG and ask them, and she said to definately call them. Whew. Would have been so mad if I was on hold only to have to be on hold again. Blah.
