Hi,
Due to an unexpected job change, we may not be able to do our original vacation plans which include a stay at GCV (already booked) and a visit to some national parks, then later this year a stay at BWV.

So if you would only do one which would be the DL trip or buy an AP and go to WDW 4 times, which would you do? My daughter really wants to go to Carsland, but I am really not a fan of DL compared to WDW.

Thanks.

For whom is the trip(s) most important? The implication in your last sentence is that you've been to DL and didn't enjoy it as much as WDW, so you prefer the latter. On the other hand, your daughter has expressed an interest in heading to DL. In the end, which wish trumps the other? There isn't a wrong answer here. ;) As for me, having been to both over the years (though WDW exclusively for the past decade), I would prefer to go the one less visited by me and where the magic all began. There are certain irreplaceable memories for me about DL: riding Matterhorn over and over, Storybook Land, the submarines, the intimacy of the main park. If I knew I'd have numerous trips to WDW over the coming years but then had a chance to replace one of those with a trip to DL, the choice would be easy: Disneyland. Obviously, however, this choice is up to you. Good luck.

How about something really crazy (awesome!)? If you are flying, you could get an airline ticket that includes stops at both places for a couple of days. For instance from Portland, OR (where I am), I could get a ticket to LA (1 leg), stop over for a few days (2-3?), then continue onto Orlando (or Tampa), even with a connection, which would be my "destination". Stay for another couple/few days, then continue onto home. Same airline outlay and likely hotel costs. Then you may/may not be able to go to WDW again later.

Then you'd hit both parks in the same trip :thumbsup2

My situation is alittle different, DD5 and I have been to WDW together 2 times and are going to DL in Oct, neither of us have ever been so I would say DL, but after this DL trip, I'm sure we prob won't go back to DL for many many years.DD is really wanting to go and since we both have never been,it's a no brainer
