WW's..Have you ever gone OVER your flex points?

OK, we were on vacation for 4 days. 2 days were counted in last week and, I managed to have about 4 flex points left over but, 2 days were counted in for this week and, I was over the minute I came home and entered everything! :eek: Mind you, I came home with a 2 lb loss but, I'm thinking it's gonna bite me "you know where" on Monday's weigh in! :eek: PLUS, we went out to eat again tonight and, I used about 5 flex points but, I was already OVER when I started this week.:eek: (lots of :eek: :eek: 's in this thread!)

So, how FAR over have you gone and, what was the result?

This is the first time in 11 weeks I've gone SO FAR over. Before this, I hardly ever dipped into flex points. I'm worried. :guilty: :scared: :worried:

I think it's hard not to go over when you're on vacation. I know I went over when we went to WDW last October, but since I didn't journal that week, I don't know how far over I was. With all the extra walking, I ended up with a small loss that week (1/2 pound, I think).

The important thing is to not worry or beat yourself up about it now. Realistically, we are going to have situations where we eat more than we should now and then. Life Happens.....right?? :teeth: The other important thing is to get right back on plan and move forward. We're in this for life....so a bad week now and then isn't going to permanently de-rail us!:D :D

I have had weeks when I exceeded my FlexPoints... during the holidays and on vacation especially. During normal weeks, it's pretty easy to only have one or two "special" days when we have a big dinner or go out.

But during the holidays or on vacation- WHOA! Every day is potentially an off-plan day.

You know what? That was one week. You start a new week with a clean slate. And one difficult week WILL NOT undo all of your hard work!

Enjoy those special times, vacations and celebrations. Just get back on plan we you go back to your regular life!

Don't feel guilty, just move on. Trust me, in life you will have days you eat more points flex points than you have, it's ok! This is something you have to do for life, and vacations, holidays and special occasions are times that you need enjoy being with family and friends. If you go over, remember it's life. Don't feel guilty, just get back on track as soon as you are home or the holiday or event is over.

I went way over on my vacation, but I went right back being OP as soon as I got home. I also have times when I just eat points than I have. I think as long as I don't do it all the time I am ok. Now that I am exercising, I still find I loose weight (not as much) even when I eat more points than I have.

Keep up the terrific work! You are doing great and learning habits that will last a lifetime.
