Hey all
First time ever to Universal/IOA. I am taking DS(9) on Sat. April 16th, before our Dream cruise, and we are staying on-site April 15th - 16th. I am doing this so that we have the on site privileges. We are only going to IOA for Harry Potter. What is my best strategy?
From what I have researched - the park will open at 8am to onsite guests, correct? Then I am going to head straight to WWoHP. We need to do FJ first, correct, then what do we do next? Is there still concern about size restrictions with FJ? I have never had a problem with Disney rides...but have read so much about FJ that it makes me nervous.
I plan to be in IOA for most of the morning up till noon/1pm...then we are headed to Cocoa Beach. I assume we will be able to do WWoHP in that time...
Any strategies and must sees for a 9 year old, I would appreciate the help and advice.
What time should I plan to arrive at the IOA gate?
Thanks!!
Debbie

Be at the gate before 7:30. There are still size restrictions but not nearly what they used to be. Lots of big and tall people have reported having no issues since the changes were made last September.

You may want to do Ollivander's first. Then do FJ, Flight of the Hippogriff and then the shops.
