WWOHP shopping - Christmas ornaments

Every year my daughters receive an ornament from St. Nicholas that pertains to the past year in some way. Since my oldest turned 11 and is a HUGE Potterhead, will I be able to find an ornament (or small trinket - perhaps a keychain?) somewhere in WWOHP that may work? I'm thinking a Firebolt, Snitch, or something along those lines.

There are wizarding world ornaments but they are honestly kind of lame. Just flat pieces of ceramic with ether a Hogwarts house or Harry potter character on the front and the wizarding world logo on the back.

We buy a christmas ornament each year we go and finally stated buying keychains instead and turning them in to ornaments. Its typically cheaper and they look much cooler. Last year we got a Time Turner keychain and made it an ornament.

That's what I'm thinking. We did the same thing in St. Louis this spring. The ornaments were very expensive but the keychains were reasonable AND more attractive. Thank you!

I just got back today, and there are definitely better ornaments than what Teknik described. Two that we picked up, a glass snow globe-style ornament with the castle in it, and the Hogwarts Express engine (3D, not flat).

That said, most of what you'll find are flat (house crests, etc), and each store will have slightly different stuff. So, if you've got enough time, it's worth making a detailed search, as I am sure you'll find something to your liking.

I have the globe one and it's quite nice on the tree. There are some nice ones as PP just said.

We have the same thing - we get a Christmas ornament from our trips and memorable moments. Because we have cats who like to play with the Christmas tree, they all must be unbreakable, so ours are all metal, plastic, or wood. We got a great Hogwarts Express emblem at WWOHP and at Disney we got a pretty Mickey head.

I like the flat house ornaments that they sell. They are pretty heavy though.
