We plan to do WWoHP on Saturday (ugh, I know) September 10. We have 1 day/1 park tickets, so we are not planning to do the US side of the park, just IOA. We are staying off site for this potion of our trip (moving to AKV @ WDW for the remainder), so we will not have early entry to WWoHP.

I believe the park is open until 7pm, and I'm wondering if it would be better for us to be there when the gates open (and probably be done by late afternoon, from what I understand of the size of the HP area), or wait until a bit later in the day to head in, and plan on being there til close? Will things likely be super crowded still at this time of year?

If it matters, we are 4 adults and a 2.5 y/o.

be at the gates early.

once the early entry homies go through, you will be in front of the line.
there have been occassions where that second line of people have been let in prior to 9.
not sayin they were let in at 8 or 8:30, but earlier than the official opening time.

you will not see big crowds in september.

go early, do the parry hotter section then go hang out at seuss land for the little.

do the rest of the park, and return back to potter before the park closes.

Seuss land, great idea! How early should we plan on getting to the park, you think?

basically, september is a low attendance month.
weekdays have lower attendance than weekends.

it also has the lower hotel costs for the rooms.

the early entry homies will enter around 7:45-8:00.

the park officially opens at 9:00

if you can handle it, be at the park and in line by 8:00.
7:45 would be better..

once the first wave of guests enter, make sure you are up front in the regular line for when the park opens.....

since the park will already be opened by the time you get in, you might have some line waits for Fj and ollivander's.

it's great you have a little with your group.
you all can do the baby swap.....

you don't go back to the end of the ride when you baby swap.
one stays behind with the child while the others go on the ride.

at their return, you go on the ride and all but one of the others can go with you.

btw, take into account of travel time to universal and parking in the garage.
you never know how many cars will be ahead of you to use the garage.
you will have a good walk time from your packed car to the gates at ioa.

the garage opens prior to park opening.

This is the second night of Rock the Universe and I think the park closes to non Rock the Universe guests at 6:00. I am not 100% certain on this but was just looking for info on attending Rock the Universe and I think that is what I read....can't find where I read it now.

o yeah, your little one will love suess landing
