I am looking at booking a vacation package at one of the Universal Studios Preferred Partner Hotels. By staying there it says you are eligible for Early Entry into WWOHP. What do you need to get in? I mean do they give you a voucher or something or do you simply use your room key? Do you use the regular Islands of Adventure gate or another gate? What time should we be at the gate? We will be visiting the last week or Septemeber so hopefully crowds will be low.

We will be staying at the Universal Hotel for one night before moving to a WDW resort. Our get up that morning and check out and then head over to the park for Early Entry. So I need to know if we should just keep our room keys in order to get in.

For the three onsites, you use your room key. I'm sorry I don't know how the partner hotels do it. You will use the regular IoA gate, and I would be there about 80 minutes before published park entry, or 20 before EE begins. (It's not unusual for the gates to open a few minutes early.) Late September crowds should be nice.

I know you didn't ask, but if you are doing this and Ollivander's is of any interest to you, go there first--even before Forbidden Journey.

When you stay at the partner hotels with a package, your park ticket is marked with a certain code that will get you the early admission.

No FOTL for Partners. You pick your tickets up at the gate.

When you book the partner hotel package they email you your e-travel document. It gives you the details. You go to the Will Call Kiosks right outside the gates. Then you swipe the credit card you used to book the package, enter the reservation number off of your e-travel document and your tickets will print.

From what I can tell you don't even have to check into your hotel to do this.
