We are thinking about a trip to Florida the week of February 7 and will have one day to spend at Universal, specifically WWoHP. I know WWoHP just opened early this summer, but I'm looking for any input on what you THINK the crowds might be like. And wondering if there's any information anywhere that would have information about the best day of the week to visit, touring plans, etc. I apologize, but we're Disney people and I'm used to all the information available. I don't know if there's anything similar for Universal.

I THINK the crowds should be fairly light that week. Conventional wisdom on these boards of late is that Sundays are the least crowded, but I've seen some recent reports on here that indicate Wednesday/Thursday are pretty light too--which makes sense since school is back in session most everywhere.

February normally has moderate crowds (it gets crazy in March). It can be very cold. This year was bitter cold in February! But being Florida it could be 30 degrees or 70! You just never know.

Yes and let's hope THAT doesn't happen again!

We were in Florida the same week this past February and you are absolutely correct - it was COLD. And I'm from Wisconsin. If we end up going again, I will be better prepared. I checked the weather forecasts before we left, but I just kept telling myself anything has to be better/warmer than Wisconsin. Well, it was warmer and there wasn't any snow, but we had hot chocolate more than once this last trip.

Hmmm. Sundays are the least crowded. That's something to consider. Thanks for the info.

A little off topic but I hope WWOHP will offer warm ciders once it gets cold. Right now they offer various cold ciders... but they just taste funny served cold!

Another question here.... I read on another post about going to WWoHP later in the day and to do the rest of IOA first because everyone rushes there first thing in the morning. Is this a good idea? We will be there the first week of November and wonder if the crowds will be that bad? I know it's Jersey week but we were in WDW last year the same week and it didn't seem crowded to me at all, we hardly waited for anything and if we did it was maybe 10 min! Anyways we really want to see and do everything WWoHP has to offer but we are not HP fans and hate crowds, so maybe waiting is better? Thanks!
