WW Weekly Weigh-in

Last Feb DH and I both joined WW. Now back in Sept I had Gastric Lap Surg. and had come to a stand still so to speak. I really have to say it has done wonders for both of us. After haveing Gall Bladder surg. last week and being on vac the week before I wasn't sure what the scale would show but I was down another 5 lbs which makes a total of 29 lbs since feb. My anniversary for the Lap Band in Sept 9th and I'm only 11 lbs from being under 200 and that is my GOAL and I'm sticking to IT!!!

congraulations to all the LOSER'S this week. Keep up the good work. And if you didn't loose that's OK just pick yourself up and start over it's not a bad thing and can be corrected.

Congratulations on your success to date. With a positve attitude like that you can't be anything but successful. Onward and downward!! :cheer2:

hi everyone! i'm not on weight watchers anymore (i was following the plan, my mom had all the books, so i didn't go to meetings). in 2003-2004 i lost ~25 lbs ( i can't remember the exact number ( i was 175 in june of 2003 and i dropped to almost 145 by january of 2004). i'm interested in starting up again, but i just want some support! haha. you guys seem like a great support group! i've gained about 10 lbs since 2004 (college stresses, then first job stresses) and i want to lose that plus a few extra lbs. i felt so much better at 145 than i ever do now. it's the starting up again that i know is going to kill me! i can do it though! :banana:
 
I weigh in today- it hasn't been a great week like the first week. We had company from out of state and we went camping too. All in all it hasn't been too disastrous though. My scales are down this morning. I'll check in tonight after weigh in!
 

Kristi- I am so sorry to hear about your nephew. I can't imagine what a time you are having. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. :grouphug:
 
WI today I was down .6 pounds. Have been binging on junk food all day. I'm going to drink another big glass of water and go to bed.

I know .6 doesn't seem like much, but at least the scale is going in the right direction. Now that your binge is behind you, you can start tomorrow fresh, it is a new day and a new week!
 
I weighed in tonight too and although the early part of my week was good, the weekend was my downfall, I just couldn't get a handle on my eating this weekend. I tried different food combinations and they left me hungry so I was eating more. But in the end I did lose a pound so I can't complain. I do find that the older I get (I will be 40 on my next birthday) that it is harder to lose the weight. It seems like I have to work twice as hard to lose half as much. My sister warned me this would happen, but all this does is motivate me to keep going. Onward and downward WISHERS!!!! :cheer2: With all this support we can succeed too!

Debbi, I'll be !44! this year so, do the math. I lost my weight after 40. ;)

I THINK :confused3 the problem is, that when you don't have a LOT to lose, the weight comes off slower. If I TRIED to lose weight now, I'm not sure I'd be successful at all. :sad2:

Last night at my weigh in I lost another 4.5 lbs which puts me at 66.5 lbs GONE since I started this road back in Sept. Only another 6lbs and I will be under 200.........YAHOO!!!

Just a little drive-by post...

I had a bad week. Apparently worse than I thought too! I was up 4.4 lbs.! Never, EVER have I had that happen! I know I was off plan alot, but 4.4?

So, this next weigh in is for Lifetime - 6 weeks at goal. If I gain another .8 from where I am now, I blow it! I am so nervous! I really don't want to screw this up. :sad2:

FANTASTIC!!!! :cool1: You should feel so wonderful about your success to date!!! Keep up the great work and you will be under 200 in no time.

:HUG: Try to stay focused and do the best that you can do, try not to stress the best you can. Try to stay away from salt and drink lots of water, it makes such a big difference at weigh in.

Kim, I think you are right, I actually think it is a combination of the age and the amount of weight to lose. I am adapting WW into my life again and even though I had company this week and even though I ate more than I should I did find myself being accountable to my journal and making alternative choices. Tomorrow is WI and I hope to at least get my 5lb ribbon as I only need .2 for that so we will see. Thanks for your continued support, it means so much. I still have the WISH ornament you sent sitting right by my computer and that is great motivation!

OMGosh! I remember that! I think Hallmark had a different idea behind that ornament ;) but, I found it so 'fitting'! :goodvibes

As for me, I forgot to WI today. :rolleyes: DS had oral surgery, I was up at 6:30 to get him there by 8 and, I just forgot. :confused3 For me, who used to WI at home EVERY SINGLE day, I'm better now but, sometimes I forget on my 'official' day. :rolleyes: ;) Last week I was still 'in range' tho. :teeth:

WI was today and I am down another 1.2. That is a total of 6# in 4 weeks, slowly but surely it is coming off. Onward and downward everyone!!!

Thanks, Kim. Glad to hear that DS is going well.

I am not claiming any clippies because I am working my way back to the clippie in my post. Hence the added update on the bottom, I will continue to update this until I am back to where I was when I earned my clippie and when and if I lose beyond that I will claim a new clippie. :)
 
Weighed in tonight (after missing a week and missing my motivation) and I was actually down -.2 :banana: Total loss of 5.6
