I weighed in today and was up .6 to 200.8. :furious: I was so close to getting under 200, and thought I had a good week. I went off program on saturday, but was real good the rest of the week, but not good enough. I just went shopping and bought more core type foods. If I don't get below 200 next week, I may try core. I don't know if it will work for me, as I like having the limit set for me. And I like my snacks which aren't core. :guilty:

Congratulation to all you who have lost and maintained!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

Renee- beautiful clippie!! Way to go!! :thumbsup2
Just hang in there. I was kinda stuck the last 3 weeks, but when I weighed in this morning I was down 4.8 lbs :Pinkbounc :cool1:  . Making it a total of 15.8. I have along way to go, but it is coming off. Good luck to everyone this week!

Rejoined last night- 5 pounds heavier than the last time I joined. The important thing is that I am back and I am determined!!

good for you! It's all in the additude. I know you can do it. :cheer2:

I weighed in today, and was down .8, to 200 even. I"m happy since it was only 4 days since my last weighin. I won't be able to get there for the rest of the week. I need to stay on track this week, so I can see that number 1 on the scale next week! I can do it!!!! :cool1:

Kbmoo- that's a great loss. Congratulations and thanks for the motivation.

Good luck to everyone this week!!

At WW weighin today I had lost 1 pound. One measly pound, but I will take it! I did have surgery last week, so I'm gonna cut myself a little slack, lol. I have now lost a total of 47.4 pounds since January 10th.

My goal for this week is to lose 2.6 so I can get that 50 pound magnet next week!! Wish me luck.

Hey All!
I lost 3 lbs. this week and I am now sitting at 189. I feel pretty good about that because I am past the 190s finally. I have lost 13.2 lbs. since June 7. I'm happy about that because I wanted to lose 15 lbs. by the time our trip rolls around in 2 WEEKS!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: I think I can do that by then. It's really great seeing the light at the end of this little tunnel though. After this tunnel, I am shooting for another 20 lb. loss. That will probably come off a bit slower but we will see and with all of your help, I know I will make it through!
Well that's all, I am wishing everyone a great week and I hope that we are all losers this week too!!
Have a Disney Day, Renee

What an encouraging thread!! Congrats to all of you losers out there!

I just finished my first week of WW (again). Almost 4 years ago I started WW and over the course of a year and a half I lost 60 pounds. I kept it off for a while and then some major life changes happened in my life and over the last year or so I gained 20 pounds back. So I went back to WW and had my first weigh in last night. To my disappointment I only lost 1.2 pounds as I was expecting a nice 1st week loss, but a loss is a loss no matter how small so although I am disappointed I am grateful it wasn't a gain. I am back lurking around WISH and look forward to getting re-aquainted with some old friends and hope make some new ones.

Onward and downward!

naisy, 3 pounds is great! Way to go!

I really love getting into the next "10's"--right now I am very close to my next milestone too! (160s)

It's so exciting, isn't it? Good for you. :thumbsup2

I finally did it, this past Sunday at my weekly WW I reach goal!

I've lost 67.5 pounds (did it on Flex). I started Feburary 8th, 2005. My waist size has gone from a 44 to a 32.

It was worth the weight and a great journey, with now the beginning of a new journey.

I'm also going to be a WW meeting leader. I start training as a receptionist this coming Saturday and am going for Meeting Leader training in October.

Congratulations, Iahnk!! Way to go!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I still have about 30 pounds to go until my WW goal (my personal goal is much lower actually). I have been thinking it would be great to be a leader someday. My local WW is having an employment meeting next week, do you think it would be weird for me to go? It says you don't have to be at goal to look into employment with them, but to BE employed you must be within 10(?) pounds of goal.

I think it would be cool to find out about the $, training, etc now so I can be ready to take a job with them when I get to goal. :)

:cheer2: Congratulations! :cheer2: You motivate all of us. Good for you! Sounds like you'll be a great leader.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

I wish I could say that my desire to be a leader was selfless, but in reality, I thought it would be a good way to stay on track.

Having been doing this for a year and a half, I can honestly say that it is much much much better the longer it goes on. The changes become much more fundamental.

Recently (about a week ago) my basement flooded and ended up costing me $2000. About 5 days later, I realized that I dealt with all the turmoil and stress and it never occurred to me to to deal with it by eating.

Previously, I would have ordered and extra large pizza and eaten the whole thing by myself.

For me, to not even have the idea of think about consoling myself with food come to mind was a huge sign of change.

So, if you've got a ways to go to reach goal, look at it as an opportunity and a gift to make a lasting change to your habits.

That's what happened for me.

Congratulations Iankh!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cheer2:
What an accomplishment and such motivation for all of us. Now we will have our very own Wish WW leader!!!!! It always makes me feel better to hear of others loss over longer time frames. I'm on WW since sept 05 and have lost 26 pounds. I too feel I am building up new habits that won't be so easily broken. Good luck with your new career!!!!!! :cheer2:
