WW Weekly Weigh-in

Hi Everyone,

Went for my first meeting tonight - wow did I gain a lot of weight on the honeymoon and all of the wedding stess.

I weighed in at 141 - 26 pounds to loose (at least that's what I would like to lose). I should lose it in no time, as long as I am good during the holidays!

Well, I was thrilled to step on the scale for my first week at WW and I was down 4 pounds!!! I kinda knew, since we have a doctor's scale in the weight room at work and I've been stepping on it for the last few days to see. I was so happy not to have gone up, as the first day I totally blew it, had a drink (or 2) on the second day, and on Tuesday this week my sister had a wine party (paired 4 different wines with gourmet appetizers...I don't know why she's not a chef...picture brie and cranberry purses in phyllo dough, baguette grilled with a basil and goat cheese spread topped with tomatoes and drizzled olive oil, swordfish wrapped in proscuitto marinated in herbes de provence and lightly grilled, and individual creme brulee...salivate now!!!) So, needless to say I ate all my points and pretty much blew the 35 pts out of the water by mid-week!! I just drank water like crazy and ate lots of salad, plus I ended the week on nightshift where I always tend to lose weight, and still had trouble cramming all the points in to 6 or 7 hours before midnight. So, here's hoping next week is good as well. As long as it's down, it's alllllll gooooood!!!! 4 down, 106 to go!!!

Congrats, Tracey!

Pleased to report that I'm down a pound this week -- new 15lb. clippie! :earseek: 4 lbs to 10%, then it's GOAL time, baby

:cheer2: YAY! :cheer2:

Have a great week everyone!

I was wondering have any of you tried the exercise DVD's that WW sells? Any thoughts? Good/Bad ?

I skipped my WI today after just getting back from WDW since Thanksgiving. I will be going next week, but needed this week to get back OP. I was scared that if I went and did my WI today that I would get discouraged and not be able to stick to plan this week like I need to.

Congrat's on the new clippies everyone. Keep up the great work.

HEY! I forgot to check in this week. Well I was down 1.5 lbs this week, so with the .5 loss from last week, I lost the 2 lb gain from Thanksgiving. :cool1: How's that for boring maintenance? ;) :goodvibes

Have a great week everyone, what's left of it anyway. :sunny:

That's not boring that's FANTASTIC :cheer2: That is exactly what maintenance is all about-- catching a little gain before it snow balls. You are an inspiration!

So far I'm on track for December, too. Yeah!

Sunny

Well, I knew it was going be a bad week for weighing in...really stressed and blew program, plus due to scheduling I had to weigh in a day early, so I gained this week, although it was only a pound, so I was pretty happy about that. Would like to not gain anymore over the holidays, so hopefully I'll be able to stick to program.

Thanks Sunny! You are such a great :cheer2: and inspiration yourself! :goodvibes

I realized yesterday also that I missed/overlooked/forgot my 1 year maintenance anniversary on Tuesday! 1 year of maintenance plus 11 months to lose the initial 73 lbs, means that my 2 year WW anni is coming up soon - I started 1/12/04!! :earseek: I truly am amazed, and so glad I did what I did. :goodvibes

:cheer2: Come on Tracey, you CAN DO IT! :cheer2:

I weighed in Weds. night after returning from WDW on Sunday.
I only gained .4!!!!! :teeth:

I am starting back on the wendie plan again this week since it worked so well for me before we went to Florida.

Keep it up everyone!!! :cheer2:

The Gods (and holidays) are conspiring against me . . . :rotfl2:

Someone just dropped off a 5-lb box of Fannie Mae. Need I mention that there are only 6 people in my office? That's almost a pound a person. :earseek:

WW don't fail me now!

Wow - I had to look up what Fannie May is.....they look fantastic, how did you resist?

I will have that problem next week - loads of Christmas parties at work, christmas with the family, not to mention my B-day a few days before Christmas. What am I going to do? :confused3

Hi!! I just wanted to pop in and see if I could ask you guys a couple questions.

Dh and I unofficially started WW two weeks ago Thursday. We have a website we visit to count points, but aren't signed up with WW or go to meetings. Anywhoo, I have lost 8 lbs since we have started but haven't lost any since Friday. Someone at work suggested I have something fatty to kick start my metabolism but I have awful willpower and this is the only diet i have ever lasted longer than 1 week with. I am afraid that eating something bad won't help and will just push me back into a bad eating habit. Any suggestions?? THANKS!
