WW Weekly Weigh-in

I finally made it over for my Nov LT WI on Friday. I'm pretty psyched to be able to get up the day after T-day and go WI and be at goal :banana:

Let's stay steady through the Holidays!

Hi Everyone!
Just found the DisBoards about a month ago thanks to my Sis - we're all going on an a DCL cruise in December together. I'm now a fullfledged addict!

I was very excited to to find a WW thread (and what a huge thread it is!)

I lost about 30lbs using Jenny Craig in 2004 but because they supply the food it's more difficult to translate into real life - their food is practically salt free! So after gaining back about 10 lbs I started WW in April 2005. I used the flex plan and use the online features including the on-the-go program on my palm pilot (what a great tool!) I managed to re-lose the 10 lbs then drifted away again. Seems once I get down to about 154 lbs it's more difficult to lose and I get discouraged and let the kids talk me into ordering pizza ;) !

So now with our cruise 2 weeks away I started back on the program full swing! I lost 2.5 lbs the first week and we'll see on Monday how much damage I did on Turkay day! Hopefully the hours of shopping and walking on Friday will conteract some of it!

You guys are all doing such a great job! Any tips on how to fit in excercise with 2 kids and a job? I think that's where I'm really lacking!

Here's to getting off a few more lbs in the next 2 weeks! :earboy2:

My WI was Wednesday and I lost my pound again. Who knows about next week?

Today was NOT a good WI. :rolleyes: I am up 2 lbs! Normally I'd blame Thanksgiving, and move on, but I woke up with horrible stomach cramps this morning, and I'm thinking it's something I ate last night, and I was severely bloated, so maybe when this bug passes, I'll lose those 2lbs. :confused3 We'll see. For now I'm not worried tho, except that I want to make these cramps go away. I feel :sick:


Fess up everyone! How'd YOU do over the Holiday???? :confused3 ;)

I went in for my November Lifetime WI on Friday morning :earseek: Knowing I was going to do that kept me in check on Thansgiving. I'm just back from my WW at Work and WI 2 lbs down since Friday :earseek: I'm finally under goal. Phew!

No loss or gain this week which is great since it was Thanksgiving!
 
I was up .4 this week. Not too bad with Thanksgiving and all.

I just wish it was nothing, or even a small loss since we are headed to WDW tomorrow! :banana:
 
Hi Guys!

Long time no see. Happy to report that I was down 1 lb this week. :cool1:

I hit a wall following the program over the past few weeks, so I upped my activity. Seems to be working so far.

:cold: With this lovely Chicago cold front, the new challenge becomes getting my behind to the gym when its 18 degrees outside. :cold:

Anyone have any good exercise tape recommendations for when it's just too cold to leave the house? :confused3

I did weigh 170.5 this weekend! So, all was well. But then, I had a positive HPT - so no more WW for me!!

Congratulations!!!!! Just eat sensible while you are doing a much more important task!!!!!

I did my LT WI for December today :cool1: I'm so glad to get it in and not be dreading it all month like I did last month. I'm one pound below goal :banana:

Those stomach/intestinal cramps lasted for 4 days. :guilty: And, when all was said and done, I was down .5 today from this 2 lb gain. A bit more to still lose before Cmas is here. :rolleyes: DDs BD is this week, a total of 4 celebrations.....I'm doomed. :guilty:

Hey all, I've been a DIS member for a while but never really looked into the WISH stuff until now. I've just (re) joined WW on Friday, weighed 250.6 for my 5'4" frame. Been this weight now for at least 4 years (my pre-pregnancy weight and DS will be 3 next month) and obviously not happy about it. I guess the final straw was my annual check-up and my new doctor (also doctor for both my sisters) looked at my family history of obesity and my dad having type 2 diabetes and said "it's not a matter of if, but when you get diabetes, and I'm giving you less than 10 years". I see my dad, and he's like a ticking time bomb, so overweight and unhealthy and he's just spiralling down so fast. I don't want to be that so it's time. And this time it has to be for good.

Hubby has been really good and fairly supportive. I was actually going to join the WW online program because it's cheaper, and he said no, we will find the money, you need the people interaction and the accountability. So it's been an interesting week so far. I'm actually going to my first meeting tomorrow and weighing in on Friday.

My biggest struggles are shift work and eating right. I work in fire dispatch and my shifts are 2 days (7-5), 2 nights (5-7) and 4 off. I found it very hard before and of course dropped out of WW for a few reasons... I eat well on days at work, but find I'm still hungry after work, I can't eat enough points on nightshift as I feel pretty queasy after midnight and I sleep during the day. Also, because my schedule shifts a day each week, I'm never off on the same days and can't always go to the same meetings with the same leader. Last time I found the bouncing around from meeting to meeting really hard, no consistency, really didn't have the feeling of belonging anywhere. So hopefully I'll be able to get over those challenges this time...any suggestions?

So, my first goal is to lose 25 lbs, or 10%. I've bought 12 weeks at WW, so it would be great to reach that first goal by then, and I've asked for more coupons for Christmas. I would like to lose 50 lbs by next Christmas and then maybe look at trying to get pregnant again. Here's hoping the debt go as well as the weight loss so we'll be able to afford to have #2...right now it's not looking good.

Oh well, one thing at a time and the weight loss is first.

So, I'll try to catch up on reading this GIGANTIC thread when I'm on nights, and I'll be sure to post how I'm doing. I'm glad I did the WW in person, cause now I can really have the best of both worlds...people at meetings, and great Disney friends online...what a way to lose weight!

I lost 1/2 pound this week. I have 1/2 pound to go to get to my pre-cruise weight. This is the closest I have been and I only gained 2 pounds on the cruise.
I went back to 22 points per day instead of the 20 and I am eating fewer flex points. I think this has helped.

I'll be joining WW tomorrow! I have no idea how much I weigh right now but I will definetely find out tomorrow - I hope it didn't climb up too high. I started the plan on Monday with my mother's help (she had an extra book) but I officially start with WW tomorrow night.

It works -- it's worked for me all four time I've done it. I'm the one who falls off the wagon :rolleyes: (Darn Dunkin' Donuts -- they get me every time. :rotfl:).
