Today's WI went very well, losing 2.6 pounds for a total of 46.8!! I have my new 45 pound clippie and I'm only 3.2 pounds away from my 50!! I can't wait to celebrate that :cool1: :cool1:

Wow! What a WI! You are doing great!

I avoided posting after WI this week because I only lost .2 lbs. I was very discouraged, but I'm feeling positive again :flower:

Sunny - I know even though those .2's or .6's in my case aren't that big, it's still a lose and it adds up. You've done SO great with 70 pounds already, try and remember that. :sunny:

But look at that clippie!!!!! 70 pounds! WOW!

I know those 'slow' weeks can be frustrating. I have been down this road several times, and I know there are times it seems like the scale won't move even though you are doing good.

Hang in there, it will move. And you did go down! So that is good!

Are you getting close to goal? When you get closer to goal, the weight seems to come off slower.

It will come off, and you will LOVE your new self.

I've officially completed week one of WW, and my total loss for the week is 4 lbs. I made sure that I wore the same clothes and shoes (and even underwear--lol) so that I would have accurate 1st week results.

Okay, don't hate me, but I'm actually a bit disappointed. I've always had much larger 1st week losses in the past. I even remember an 8-lb loss once. However, until now I've never worked out during the 1st week of WW before. One week prior to beginning WW, I joined Curves. I keep telling myself that muscle weighs more than fat and that 4 lbs is certainly nothing to cry over, but I'm still just slightly disappointed. I KNOW that I counted every point correctly, so I'm not beating myself up for that either.

I want to feel like this:

Instead, I feel like this:

:rolleyes1
NOTE: Came back to add that I'm "over it" now. ;) My positive attitude is back in the driver's seat. Four pounds gone is great. :cheer2: Thanks for letting me "rant."

Rant whenever you want, but KNOW that 4 lbs is Fabulous, and the first 4 of many! You'll be racking up those pounds, and clippies, before you can blink an eye! WEIGH TO GO!!!! :goodvibes

:sunny:

Congrats Tera! That's wonderful.

DznyDreams - This is my first time ever doing WW and I'm in my 4th week. I lost 4.4 lbs. my first week and was ecstatic!! Congrats on you loss and WTG on the exercising as well!

Everyone is doing so great! And for those of you with small loses: a loss, is a loss, is a loss - even if it's only .2. Take it from me since I am this thread's self-appointed "slow loser!" :wizard:

I actually had a fabulous WI last night! I was down 2.4 lbs. for a total of 20.6! That is excellent for me. I do have to fess-up a bit though. I was OP all week, but yesterday morning I had an endoscopy and didn't eat much at all before WI at 5pm (10 pts. maybe). So, that might have given me a little boost from fasting since midnight the night before and for not eating anything until lunchtime. ;)

I gained 1 pound this week. :sad1: DH and I went to Vegas and besides the obvious, all there is to do there is eat. I guess with all the buffets we went to, I should be glad I only gained one pound! I think that all the walking we did saved me from gaining more.

Congrats all you losers.

I really wanted my 15 pound clippy this week, but alas, it will not happen. I did not lose or gain.

It must have been all that corned beef for St. Patty's Day. At least Easter is not my favorite food time.

My weigh in was last night and I was down 2 lbs. This brings my total loss to 6.2 since March 9th. :sunny:

Congratulations to everyone and keep up the great work!

I had my weigh in tonight after 2 full weeks of the Flex Plan. I am down another 4.8 lbs for a total of 9 lbs since March 10!

I just had WI and I'm down 3.6 lbs. for a total of 12.2 since February 27. I know it's not much but I'm really proud of myself. This is the first diet I have ever done and it's been hard but it is so gratifying to look at my losses.

Thank you to everyone here for your support. Congrats to all the losers!!

As you SHOULD BE!!!! :goodvibes  :cheer2: WEIGH TO GO!!! ONWARD & DOWNWARD!!!

Congratulations!

Hello. I joined WW meetings a week and a half ago. :teeth: A little history here - I joined WW online about 2 years ago, and stopped doing it after losing 25 lbs, and thought I could go it on my own. :confused3 Well two years and 25+ lbs heavier, I am starting again. This time with meetings, where I actually have to go in!

My first WI was Friday and I lost 5.4 lbs! I hope this week will be around 2-3, and keep up 1-2 after that. I'd like to lose 10 lbs total (so 4.5 more) before WDW on April 30!

I have no intention of counting points or writing anything down while at WDW, so I imagine my WI after I get back will be horrible, but hopefully all that walking will pay off - LOL.

Wish me luck! Mary

I should clarify that last post: I plan to lose a lot more than 10 lbs total - that is just my mini goal before WDW. I'd like to be 115-120 (I am short), so I have about 40 total to lose.

Mary

 I was up 1 lb this past week and instead of the weight gain embarrasing me into stopping eating---I jumped straight for the easter candy. I'm sitting here on Monday at work wondering why I ate so much chocolate after gaining :guilty:

Anyway---I'm back OP today and am hoping I didn't do too much damage--- I have been so good since January and now I feel like a failure

Have a good week everybody!!
Barb

Down 1/2 pound this week - so I lost the 1/2 pound I gained last week...but it's progress.

Mary - WELCOME!! :wave2:

Barb, there is no such thing as a failure on THIS thread! ;) You HAVE been good since January, so concentrate on the positive, and continue OP like you started. :grouphug: (That 1 lb is probably water retention, or something else stupid  , and it'll be gone ASAP!) :goodvibes

As for me, don't start congratulating, but I was down 1.5 lbs today, the day after Easter! :earseek: Being on maintenance, I don't think this is anything permanent, and combined with a mini-vacation this week, I'm not even confident enough to change my clippie to 80 lbs total. I just think that next Monday, or even the Monday after that, it will reappear (maybe even tomorrow!). :confused3

I have noticed something weird the past few weeks though, and that is that the scale goes down about mid to late week, and by Monday WI it's right back to normal again. One day last week I was actually 3 lbs less than today's weight, but it was right back to normal by Monday. This week, the mid to late week loss just seems to have stayed...albeit not forever I think. ;)

Have a Great WW Week everyone!! I will be spending my flex points PLUS in the Wisconsin Dells for a few days! See ya next week! :wave2:

I was down .6 lb this week. My weightloss has slowed to a snail's pace. But I really shouldn't complain since I lost my first 50 lbs in 5 1/2 months. It just seems like a whole lotta work for less than a pound loss!

Sunny
