If i were on WW how many points would I have consumed today?

BK- one apple

Lch- 2 slices of ham one slice of swiss on 2 slices of wonder lite wheat.

snack- lite dannon yogurt

Dn- salad ( with my own homeade dressing(olv oil based, honey, scallion etc).

next snack in about an hour- fat free jello or pudding.

I did have about 4 cups of coffee (splenda and 1/2 1/2)

I am considering trying WW. I have been a LC for a while and miss alot of foods. I tried WW last year (only for one day, not really a fair try) but, decided it wasnt for me........I was not into counting points. However, I am beginning to think that perhaps, I shoudl REtrain my habits and introduce more foods. Actually, just got a call from Dr. says my colesterol was a little high and I should exercise more and eat less fat.

So would this day have been doable on WW plan?

The point system is giving to you? or can you figure out points by looking at labels? Ifso, how does one figure out points onm things such as my own salad dressing?

thanks all!

Let me try this:

Apple 1 pt if sm, 2 if lg

Ham - assuming lunch meat type - I'd say 2 pts/slice

Swiss Cheese - 3/4 oz avg - 2 pts

Lt dannon yogurt - most are 2 pts

Salad - depends on what is in it. - oil based dressings are about 4 pts/2 tbsp
most 'salad fixins' are 0 pts.

FF Jello/Pudding are most 1 pt

1/2 & 1/2 - 2 tbsp = 1 pt , so about 4 pts
splenda - 0/packet

So, probably about 20 pts today which would be for under 150 lbs current weight

They give you a points calculator that figures points based on fat, calories & fiber. To figure your dressing you'd figure on the ingredients. You can buy a complete food companion book which gives points for over 16000 foods & there's one for various restaurants.

HTH

thanks...........
I have some stuff I got when I joined last year, I believe it is the calculator chart. I am off to dig it up! Being that I have that, are there any advantages to actually joining again (in person) Money is kinda tight now.
I mean as far as support, I can get that here. I looked into the online WW and thats seems really expensive (because of the sign up fee! 30 bucks!)
So, beside the points book and the chart what else do I get by signing up?
meetings? Not sure if i can make those to often and weigh in's right? Any other benefits?

thanks all............
