WW - care to share you 5 POINT meal options?

I had a nice 5 POINT meal today and I was thinking if I had a few options to change around it would be a nice alternative. So if you have a 5 POINT (plus or minus) meal please share it with your fellow WW.

For my 5 POINT meal I had a "lite" BLT (2 slices of lite white bread with 2 tsp. Miracle Whip, 2 slices of Hormel microwave bacon, 3 slices of tomato and lettuce); 1 cup sugar snap peas with a little sprinke of Salt and Spice and a spritz of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray; and a diet root beer.

Anyone else?

I usually 'schedule' a 5 point lunch, but usually don't consume it all, just to know I could if I wanted to tho, helps.

So today I scheduled a Campbell's Soup at Hand (1), a chicken breast sandwich using 2 slices Wonder Lite bread, tbsl of Hellmann's lite, and 5 slices Tyson 98% ff chicken breast (3), 1/2 large apple (1), and 12 oz Minute Maid Lite Lemonade (0).

For dinner, if I had skipped the baked potato, it could've been a 5 pt dinner. Really huge salad, with whatever you like, with 2-4 tbsl of FF dressing (yes, you can have up to 4 tbsl for 1 pt)!, mine consisted of lettuce, mushrooms, cucumbers and an egg white with FF Catalina (sweet & spicy), add a petite No Name steak (4) to that, and you've got 5. (Add 6 oz baked potato for 2.5, 5 oz for 2)

I think my dinner last night was 6 pts. 1 cup cooked pasta (4), 1/4 cup Prego (1), and the 1 pt salad mentioned above.

After 8 months, I'm sure I could find more 5 pt meals in my planners. ;)
 
Veggie burger (2) on WW roll (1) with mushrooms, onions and peppers sauteed in balsamic vinegar (0). Corn on the cob (1). Salad with FF dressing (1).
 
Cookie-Where did you find the WW rolls???
 
1/2 pita bread (2 pts); 1/2 banana (1 pt) and 1T peanut butter (2 pts). I toast the pita, spread with PB and slice the banana and lay in the pita. This is a yummy lunch for me, and filling to.

I also make egg salad and put that in a pita.
1 hard boiled egg (2); pita (2) and 1T lite mayo (1)

Those are my lunch kicks lately. I go through spurts and tend to eat the same things for awhile then have to change it again. So will enjoy reading other ideas.

Shoprite in my local area carries them (bread, hamburger & hot dog rolls). They're usually 2.99, but they've been selling them for 1.79, plus I have a half billion or so coupons from the meetings, for 35 cents off, and Shoprite doubles coupons! :teeth:

They haven't been in every store, though. Foodtown also carries them, but much less bread varieties.
 
WW breads are terrific!

2 slices of WW white or wheat bread (1pt), mustard (0), thin and trim ham 2 0z. (2pts) and two slices of Land 0 Lakes Lite White American Cheese (2 points)!

Then for a snack I choose a giant fudge bar or a Klondike slim a bear, or a Devils Food Jello Pudding snack. (GFB is 1 pt and rest is 2pt).

Love it.
 
Thanks Cookie! I haven't seen them yet, but I'm going to ask around. A friend also suggested low carb bread (2 slices for 1 point). I'm not a huge bread eater, so it's not a big deal.
 
I haven't seen the WW breads either, but would love to find them. Does anyone know of any other chains that sell them?

If anyone has a Farm Fresh near them I just found their house brand lite white and two slices has (0) points.

WW breads/buns are the ONLY WW products they sell in Canada. Wish we had all the other good stuff....especially those ice cream bars!

Good luck finding the bread. My whole family eats it...even Dad who just put it on the shopping list even though Mom is away for 2 1/2 weeks (I thought he'd go crazy eating crap while she was away!)
 
italian salad -- lettuce and free veggies plus 17 turkey pepperoni (2 pt) lite italian dressing (2 pts) and 1 pts worth of RF shredded mozzerella cheese


Healthy Choice hot dog with mustard (2 pts) - one piece of fruit (1 pt) and 2 pts worth of pretzels or the like


Trader Joe veggie or shrimp potstickers (3 or 4 pts respectively) with 1 TBSP Wasabi Terriyaki dipping sauce - bowl of sugar snap peas

chef salad -- lettuce and free veggies plus 2 pts worth of imitation crab meat, 2 pts for 2 TBSP Lite Done Right Three Cheese Ranch and 1 pt for either croutons or RF shredded cheddar cheese

one Whole Wheat english muffin topped with tomato sauce (3 pts total) and 8 turkey pepperoni (1 pt) and RF shredded mozz cheese (2 pts) and baked in oven as English muffin pizzas

WW friendly nachos -- Trader Joe Unsalted Tortilla Chips (2 pts) topped with 1 pts worth of Fat free refried beans and 2 pts worth of RF shredded cheddar cheese and salsa (0 pts)

that's all i can think of for now - i can probably add more later. 5 pts is my usual target for lunch :)
 
I second the veggie burger. :) When I was doing WW meetings way back that was my favorite low point dinner.

I've recently made spaghetti with 2 veggie burger patties and 2 veggie sausage. I dunno what the points were I haven't started tracking and journaling again. I have to use the free site for journaling for now until I can afford the monthly fee for the WW official website journal. :)

I'm also avoiding meat and trying to have a vegetarian diet. I've cheated a few time in last month though.
 
Just wanted to bump this thread up! Just wondering if anyone had anymore meal ideas......any little helps. I know we all probably get tired of eating the same thing all the time!
