WTH? Two different PIN codes in less than 30 days!

What is up with DIsney? I received the 40% PIN code about a month ago, and have been holding firm, no booking a trip. Today I open the mail and there is the kids 3-9 stay play and dine (of course both of our girls are over 9, lol). Too funny, no codes from tehm in eyars and then two within 30 days!

I got the same 40% in early Jan.............and now the free child PIN. Was planning for Disneyland Paris this spring but............this has got me thinking.

I received--found--the kids stay, play & eat free last month in my SPAM folder and then today I found the $500 gift card one in my junk mail account. Both would cost me more than the 4/3 deal we're booked under and both won't fit my dates. I wish I got the 40% off, because that might work for the adult only anniversary trip we're taking at the end of September.

I got both of them too, but can't use either. Wouldn't you know that the first 2 PINS I ever get I can't use. Well, I could use them, but the 4/3 deal is better than the 40% for us, and the kid's offer is during school. Now if they would only offer 4/3 with free dining for stays Sat thru Sat, with a $500 free gift card, then I would be all set.

Well, I've held firm, no booking for me. Our November trip kinda showed all of us that we need to stay away for a while. We did nothing at all in EPCOT but have dinner one night (30 minute wait with an ADR at NINE DRAGONS for Pete's sake). WE have seen it, done it, so many times DH told me to just go without him if I planned another trip in the forseeable future! THink we're just gonna concentrate on the beach this summer, it's almost impossible to pull the girls from school now (older DD will start HS this fall).

Your multiple pin offers are probably a result of the economy and the fact you haven't booked recently...they didn't ned to send them before when you always went and now they want you bad!

They must want us really badly, we were there in both January and November '08! I booked bounceback for CR when we were there in November for June'09, but it just didn't feel right, right at $300 a night with the 30% discount for a wing room! The 40% PIN I received gave me WL CY view for a little over $200 but the tickets are the killer. 4 adult hoppers now, no more childrens rates for us

Nay, I think it is really just random, because we were there last June, and have been booked for this June for a while now, until we changed it to May last month. So they already knew we were coming back.

I've gotten the same pins. We haven't even gone. I've just been trying to go. I feel bad too because ds checked the mail yesterday and was all excited because it said You're Invited and he said it was an invitation from Mickey to come visit him at his clubhouse. I would love to take advantage of one of these deals but dh's job is so shaky right now that bringing this up would not be good.

I got the same mailings you did, but why is everyone saying it's 2 pins, the "Kids stay for free" had no pin code on it?

Just wondering if that is true with others.

I think they are just sending them to everyone....I've never gotten a code in my life, and already had a trip booked with the 4/3 deal when I got a code for 40% off a room at a value. Then I had to cancel our booked trip, and just this week got the kids play, stay and dine for free, and when I got a quote for it, asked the CM to check to see if I had other codes, and he said that my husband had the $500 gift card code. And the killer is, I don't think I'll get to use any of them because my husband is in the process of applying for a new job, so we everything is up in the air because of that!

You guys are all lucky getting 2 codes. I have never had 1 ever. I have been the last 4 yrs stayed on Disney. Last year we stayed at Bonnet Creek. This year we are staying at Disney again and would love a 40% off code. Too bad they were not transferable!

We do short frequent trips (live in GA, drive down, plus DH is self employed (ER doc) and can't take that much time off at a time, so the 4/3 won't work for us. Factor in two girls in Middle School, one of which starts High School in August and you see our dilemma). The only week offered with my PIN codes and even with the bounceback we had is May 31-June 6, with that last weekend notoriously busy due to GD's. We've been there during that time before and have no complaints about the atmosphere, it's just getting really hard to get dining reservations, especially in light of the new constraints placed on them by Disney (no more 180+10). Our thoughts are we were able to ride TSM one time in November, AI doesn't really interest un, we can hold off for a while.

Are there pin codes out there that really give you a good deal, or are they just trying to give you the fever????

Lucky! I've been hoping for a pin code, but I don't think anything has been the 4/3 deal for us so far. But it would still be nice to get one.

Well, the other one I received was for 40% off room, gave me CY view at WL May 31-June 6 at around $200 a night.
