PLEASE PLEASE without any spoilers to those who've seen the movie, is it good? Is it worth seeing in your opinion and how many stars out of five would you give it?

Yes it was good. I give it 4 out of 5 - only because Maggie whats her name gets on my nerves.

My boyfriend and his dad just got back from seeing it - they gave it 2 thumbs down. They left before it ended and got their money back. And those 2 LOVE movies!!!

I haven't seen it yet, but a local radio person was going on about it this morning, she thought it was beautiful.

I just saw it this afternoon & thought it was very moving. They follow the day of 2 Port Authority Officers, along with their families. I would give it 4/5 stars. It brought me to tears a few times. :(

I saw it last Tuesday night a before the public and I thought it was a very moving movie, i give it 4 out of 5 .

I agree, it was very moving and I thought nicely done.

I thought it was ok. I suppose I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. Is it worth seeing, yes, but it would be ok to wait for the DVD too.

My parents, avid movie goers, told dh and I it is a must see.

Having grown up in NY, I am very interested in seeing this movie. I will just carry a box of tissues with me as I am sure it will dredge up the emotion of that day again. It took me a long time to get to where that day did not weigh heavily on mind and heart, hopefully I am not openning old wounds for myself. I lost a friend from High School in the collapse.

I haven't seen it but my Dsis did. She & her fiance really liked it. She said it was very moving and made her very emotional. It's on my list to see.

4 of us went tonight, and I was really glad I had free tic's from a post on the Dis (the talk to your child about smoking tic's..they let us pay the diff on the child's ticket to make it an adult). I had trouble staying awake. None of us were impressed by the movie. I thought the A & E movie was much better done, as was the United one out in the theaters. There were about 12 people in the theater, after one couple left in the middle...and I'm guessing it just moved too slow for them. I know this was a true story, but I think it's the first WTC anything that didn't move me to tears. It could have been any rescue movie, IMO, with poor actors.
Maybe we were too close to it, with a son that worked in the area. It was just so much more devastating than they portrayed it.

You just summed up my feelings about the movie that I haven't been able to put into words. Other then Nick Cage the acting was horrible and I think that had a lot to do with the quality of the movie.
