WTC movie question

Do you think the movie would be too much for a 11 almost 12 year old? My DS has recently become VERY interested in all sorts of history. He loves to watch the History channel. I do monitor what he watches, but he just really enjoys all sorts of history. I was wondering if this would be an ok movie to see with him. Any comments?

I think it depends on how mature he is. My 16 year old went to see it and came home really upset. She told me NOT to see it. I am a big wuss and she said it would be too much for me. She looked drained when she came home. She also said this was the first time she had been to a movie and when it ended no one moved. Everyone sat there looking at each other and see could see a lot of red eyes of both males and females.
